January 13, 2024 my wife went to go get me breakfast from the Wendy's on 3013 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, GA 30906 around 10am . I told my wife that I want French toast and potatoe wedges. Once she made it home I open the bag and there was my breakfast I ordered I saw one of the French toast was shorter than the others ones in the container that holds the breadsticks of French toast. I picked up the one I saw and it was bitten full teeth half of the stick was bitten off.. and place back in the container .. I was disappointed ,disgustingly grossed out, I normally home cook daily so it's rare that I go outside my home to ear but I have had Wendy's French toast it it's way better than. Burger King in my opinion.. so I go get dressed tell my wife I want to ride back to store with her. Get to store the rude ghetto manager hears the complaint then looks at food takes the one stick out with her BARE HANDS. THEN PLACE IT BACK IN CONTAINER . Then say she is goin to check the cameras after telling whole staff of 4 plus women the messy issue so now everyone comes to front counter while the management check camera footage . And say she say the lady fix the food bag the food n hand it out window . And I need to talk to my wife. About why is there a bite mark her employee didn't do it n she isn't returning my money or bother to remake the food . And slides the bag across the counter after her bare hand been all pulling in the bag as well. Then crew members yelling they tried it so I express I will reach out to corporate and did file a complaint with them as well waiting on return call .. those women was unprofessional, as well group up to intimidated me and my wife . However when I got my burger it had come with everything on it (which was fine since I could understand the misunderstanding) so I called the store because it was late and I had made it all the way home before I had realized the mistake. After I called back they told me to hurry back and that they would fix it for me which I was very appreciative of. However when I got back home it was already past closing time and my double CHEESEburger was now nothing but two meat patties so I called AGAIN and asked if I could just come back tomorrow since the store was already closed and the person on the phone told me that I could come get a slice of cheese now but I was already back home and it would be 2 am before I got back so I just asked if I could get the burger replaced the following day and told them I would bring the burger back to show that I wasn’t going to be eating it. All I was told is that they would give me a slice of cheese the following day which I don’t think was very nice because my burger would then be ice cold at that point but when I was on the phone I could employees laughing saying and I quote “this lady buggin” and this really upset me because I had just got home and was being super nice because I do work in fast food and understand that mistakes are made but to be laughed at was...
Read moreMy husband and I were excited a new restauraunt was coming to waynesboro. Upon our visit, store looked great. We ordered the classic hamburger and famous wendy fries!! Our fries were cold!!!! And my husband told the girl at the front counter the first time and said okay she will make another order of hot fries. Getting the second order the fries were like they placed them in microwave. Still cold. So my husband took the fries again to front counter and the girl got an attitude like it was our fault the fries were cold! I mean come on now. The store is brand new and the workers already have an attitude when we are the ones paying for the fries. All we wanted was hot fries to go along with our hamburger. By the time we received the fries which were hot after the 3rd try. It was too late we already ate the hamburger which the bread was soggy. To top it off our experience again at a brand new restaurant the two managers just stood there and looked at my husband and didnt comment at all! I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot they would want good service and hot fries! Very sad! I wonder if the people that own this franchise would be happy to hear about this experience we had.
