CARNITAS DE PUERCO Y PUERCA — Restaurant in Aurora Township

Honestly if I had the chance not to give them any stars I wouldn’t. This was the worst experience ever and I don’t usually make this type of reviews but here we go. Me and my husband went yesterday to eat inside the restaurant everything was going good the waters were fine but then they bring out all the food we ordered 4 tacos, 1 burrito and cueros. When they brought everything out omg it smelled like super bad and I didn’t really think nothing of it since I don’t really eat that type of food I thought it was supposed to smell like that but anyways I proceed to eat a Cuero and guys I almost threw it up seriously disgusting my burrito I bit into it and it was disgusting I didn’t tell my husband anything because I thought that’s how that food tasted so anyways I left half of my burrito there and took the rest home my husband only ate two tacos there which those were OK So anyways we took half of a burrito home Two tacos and the cueros and my husband said he would eat it at home when he ate it at home he kept gagging and almost threw up because of the smell and how it tasted. I gave them a call today and told them about what had happened and with the food and she said she can’t do anything about it that I should have told her yesterday like I had mentioned I thought that’s how the burritos and cueros were supposed to taste like but for me that was disgusting but my husband said that was the most awful food ever like seriously? Everywhere I go customers always come first but not here. Don’t spend your money here it is not worth it. Long story short if you go buy food here do make sure to smell your meat make sure it isn’t old, dry and smelly like ours was. fyi the girl manager was the worst she doesn’t care about customers she kept speaking over me when I wanted to tell her about my experience AVOID...

We went here on a Saturday night 45 minutes before closing. The waitress told us they were closing soon at 9 and asked us to do take out but we declined since we live far and asked to be seated to dine in. Ten more people came in after us with her telling them the same. 5 were upset but agreed, but the last 5 declined and said it would take them more than 30 minutes to eat. This was not appropriate and I think bad for business. If you want to close earlier then change your hours not turn people away wanting to dine in. The carnitas are delicious though and the tacos are loaded and filling. We even took some home for Sunday morning. The same waitress that was trying to turn people away was rushing an older woman that was alone and messed up her order and they began arguing because she didn't give her what she ordered. Food is fantastic as long as the waitress isn't coughing all over it. Blowing her nose and eating and not washing hands afterwards to handle the food. Coughing over the drinks and chips. Another table ordered a drink in a cup and as she was getting it for them coughed all over it as well. Was then watching TV and eating instead of taking care of her customers. Then when confronted about it lies upon lies and her response was she was coughing because of a jalapeño she ate and then said . But did I cough on your food. When asked why the employees aren't wearing masks because of course the customers have to to be able to enter we were told they have been vaccinated and don't need to. Really?!?! With everything that's going on? If she was wearing mask at least it would stop her from coughing on the food and dishes....
