Tavern On Broadway — Restaurant in Aurora Township

We stopped in for a quick bite before a show. We arrived about 30mins later than planned, but it took longer for the server to come to our table to get our order than it was for us to get the food. It was super fast! I ordered a small Ceasar Salad with Chicken and it was so delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the salad was perfect to satisfy my cravings. 2 people in our group ordered a hamburger both of them said it was "soooo goood". It made my mouth water, that I've had a craving for a week now. I live in Chicago and I'm tempted to go back to Aurora just to satisfy that craving. Lol. We were not there long enough to fully enjoy drinks or the place itself, which is why I didn't give it a 5 stars. But I would definitely recommend. I look forward to going...

I lived in downtown Chicago for three years. And Tavern On Broadway reminds me a lot of places I ate at. I've been here when it's busy and when it's not, but rest assured I was taken care of very well. Katie was great at reading our table. She saw we wanted some drinks first, gave us some time to drink and chat, then arrived at the perfect time to take our food order. *She made this shot for us (Malibu, pineapple juice....and other mixes) it was delicious!!!! If you're ever there, ask for Katie and her special drink she just might shake one up for you.
