Offbeat Vintage Collective — Local services in Aurora Township

Super cute shop, inconspicuously located on the lower level of Wykwood House in downtown Aurora. I stopped in with my two kiddos this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Although a tiny shop, it was packed with tons of reasonably priced vintage finds. I almost purchased a skirt, but changed my mind...then I saw someone else picked it up. Cute and well-organized store, but I didn’t appreciate the woman pretending to organize shirts that were already perfectly color-sorted while watching us like we were going to steal. She happily took cash from my hand but put the change on the table. We won’t be back.

ETA She refers to it as a "misunderstanding," but let’s call it what it really is—prejudice. Own up to it! A genuine apology would have been much better than making excuses.
