We visited this on 11/2/25, very close to their opening time. We went in an were greeted right away by the hostess. She asked if we would prefer a booth or table. I told her either would be fine, she chose a booth for us. I asked her if we could please have a highchair for our 1 year old. It took her a few minutes, and she came back with a booster seat and immediately walked away. We attempted to use the booster seat but, the distance between the seat and the table was too great, and it wasn't going to accommodate our needs. Our server overheard my complaint and asked if she could get us a highchair to which we agreed. After she brought the highchair over and we got our baby situated, the manager called our waitress over a couple feet away and began to yell at her for giving us a highchair. He began to point and stare at us while he scolded the server on the floor in front of customers. I watched him go back to the doorway of the kitchen and scowl at myself and my family. I pointed this out to my husband and elderly mother, that the manager just yelled at the server (to which they heard, everyone did) and him staring at us. My husband was very upset by this and told our server we would dine somewhere else. The server and hostess sincerely apologized, but the manager stayed far away. I am writing this to let you know, we will never return to this location to dine, and I believe your manager who opened Sunday morning should be spoken to in regard to his behavior. The other thing to note, is my husband actually works for one of the distributing companies for your location. This is poor behavior to exude and it reflects as very unprofessional on your business. The correct way to have handled whatever problem was unfolding in the manager's opinion was to come over and have a conversation with us, to explain and find a solution. Instead, he belittled his staff in front of patrons and co-workers, lost revenue, and tarnished this location...
Read moreTypically, we order take out ( always a good experience food and service)but choose to sit down this visit. The first , issue was the Waiter he was in my opinion, not trained properly, he couldnât answer questions about the menu , we provided our order ( no eye contact and very soft spoken) , after taking out order he brought back our waters ( no ice ) so we asked for iced /water and straws ( remember that ) , he then brought back our soda (ginger ale) which was light no bubbles and flat , when I told him about it ask what do you want me to do itâs just like that, I told him remove it from our order , will just do water with ice and straws, now on to our alcohol beverage ( Long Island Ice Tea) light in color and flat absolutely no taste of alcohol, we informed the waiter , and again asked for iced water and a straw, the manager came over , we told him about the drink he told us the drinks are pre mixed they are all that way and then walked off , did not offer us another option or drink ( he appeared very disgusted and not engaged frankly, just like he didnât care to even be in the building ) , the waiter then return and asked us , is the drink ok, which indicated no communication with the manager back to GJ to remove it , so we then asked for water ice and straw again , after about 20 minutes, the waiter comes back and says, oh where is your food ( what ) what what, we decided we needed to just leave and told the waiter , this experience was just not good he didnât try to ask us anything else and take note , and didnât offer an apology , etc . We entered the restaurant at 7:25pm and left at 8:09 my time is valuable didnât expect 5 star service here , but definitely didnât see it...
Read moreMy Sister and I went to Applebee's today. Before I get started let me say that I will never go back to this location again. One star for good food. No additional stars for terrible service. We noticed how happy these ladies were to talk to the Hispanic Customers. It's clear that we're not welcome here. I will continue going to my favorite location.
We ordered a Appetizer each. The wonton tacos and a drink each. I had a Berry Merry Colada. We sat at the bar. Several mins passed before we were even acknowledged. No eye contact whatsoever, not a smile or a "Hello be right with you". Finally my friend says can we get some menus.
The lady looks irritated that we asked, and again no greeting, no uosale, no water, no meal suggestions or anything. After we looked over the menus once again several mins passed then finally " Are you ready to order? We placed the order. Not a long wait to get the drinks and food.
A few mins later we were reluctantly asked " How's the food? After that no offer for more drinks or dessert. Our dirty plates just sat in front of us while she visited with a couple. Finally the plates are cleared.
She did at least ask if we wanted separate checks in which we did. Our meals were approx 11.00 each. I tipped 3.00. Had the service have been good I would have tried at least $10 on a $11 ticket.
I've worked in customer service for several years and the biggest thing that irritates me is that no matter how busy you are in which these two were not busy to the degree of even working with Customers or taking things to customers in a way where they couldn't at least smile or say something You always give some form of acknowledgment too your Customers. They look like they...
