First time ordered here. We ordered takeout. Unfortunately we ran into several problems. We ordered multiple Reuben sandwiches. They forgot to put 1000 island on the sandwiches, and the corned beef was pretty dry and not much sauerkraut on them to compensate either. Of course didn’t find out till we got home to eat. We ended up driving back just to get the 1000 island. Credit to manager that offered to make new ones but we just wanted the sauce to eat what we had. My kids who went back said he gave us $20 voucher for next time. But we live in Wisconsin, visiting my daughter who lives in Denver. So maybe she can use sometime if she wants. The Gouda cheese bites were very good. The cheese curds we ordered were very greasy, sitting in little puddle of oil in container. Otherwise they were just ok, granted we are biased being from WI. however the fish and chips we ordered had no tartar sauce and when I was paying i specifically asked one question whether there was tartar sauce in there and bartender who was packing it up said yes. That is not acceptable. If you aren’t sure then either check or just get another one to be safe. The fish was also greasy. They didn’t eat it. Last, we ordered a Cobb salad. The menu mentions nothing about onions being in the salad. However there were a bunch of red onion pieces in it which my wife does not like so she only ate some of it. Unfortunately an order that should have been relatively simple had too many problems. I’d give one star but I added a star since manager was trying to fix the one issue. I would not recommend...
Read moreConsistently inconsistent. I've been to Noonan's multiple times since they started Bingo. Cassy the Bingo caller is the only redeeming factor. Service is slow at best. It's recommended you bring your own silverware and condiments, as you are unlikely to receive any unless explicitly requested, and by then your food will be cold. The kitchen lacks any consistency, the food often not cooked to order or correctly. The atmosphere is lackluster and dated, featuring stained and deteriorating ceiling tiles ready to fall in and small antique televisions that should be retired. I don't understand why the menu has prices on it because they have never once matched my bill, it seems like random numbers are pulled out of the air. I think condiments are extra because nothing matches the bill and it seems like I'm being nickel and dimed for everything. The worst part is you never receive an itemized bill just a server announcing "your total due is:". SURPRISE your steak and bake special $14.95 was rung in at over full price $18 95!
Tldr: poor service, poor food, unexpected pricing, and dilapidated dining room make this restaurant/bar...
Read moreA great bar, and the kitchen serves some good food well into the night, more so than other places in the area. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and personable, and more often than not will remember you from a previous visit and are genuinely nice.
There are events going on here almost every night of the month, including poker nights, karaoke, beer pong, and pretty much every sporting event from baseball to MMA on the multiple screens inside the bar.
The burgers and tater tot bowls are some of the best items on the menu, but the cooks here also do a good job of preparing fried bar food without it being too oily or overcooked. Drink selection is fairly wide, with multiples of most standard popular liquors, and typically more than a dozen beers on tap, with rotating seasonal and popular pours.
The smoking patio is great, as it is heated year round, has zip down walls to keep the wind and cold out, and diverse seating. Between the drinks and the food, this is a pretty nice place to sit and smoke cigars with friends while not having to be stuck inside. I really enjoy being able to do that during summer...
