Domo 77 — Restaurant in Aurora

We had a reservation on Valentine's Day for 7:00 p.m. We walked in and were able to sit down within a few minutes however our server didn't even acknowledge us for the first 15 minutes, then when he took our drink orders it took him another 20 minutes to get our drinks to us. After that we waited another 20 minutes for him to take our food order. Another 45 minutes before the chef came out to cook. Everyone at our table was furious with how long it was taking the fact that the server didn't check on us more often apologize and introduced himself nothing. He was the worst server I have ever met! It seems that the way that chefs come out is all dependent on when a server puts the food order in and so it doesn't matter if other tables come in in our set after you got there If their server gets their food order in first, the chef will come and cook for them first. This happened with two tables that came in and sat down AFTER us. When this was about to happen a third time all of us at the table got up and started yelling and saying that this was so ridiculous and that we're leaving. At that point we had been there so long we were clearly going to miss the movie that we had planned after our dinner. The table wasn't even hot when the chef showed up to cook. We brought everything to the owner's attention and one of the members at our table even said that they need to take 50% off of everyone's bill at our table. The owner just laughed and thought we were making a joke (not sure why) even though the guy who suggested that was clearly very upset. Of course when they brought our bills out there was no discount at all. Needless to say everyone at that table will not be coming back to dine at Domo 77 ever again because of our experience. The food wasn't great either and the ventilation system is almost non existent. We left smelling like the food, now my car, coat and hair smells like their food. I'm sure someone will respond to this from the restaurant but at this point it's too late. The time to fix the problem was last night when we were in the restaurant. I had to come update my review... I always have came to domo 77. I really use to like this place; however, the last few times we have came here, it has been really bad. The 1st time we got charged gratuity on a party of three.... I asked if it was something new and they told me yes, they also rushed us out as if we wasn't worthy of service... they were not busy or about to close so I don't understand why! The next time I returned it was me and my sister, there was no gratuity on this check which lead me to believe maybe they judge us when I came in with my husband, which is werid because we really do come here all the time and tip very well!!!! More then what the gratuity would have ever been. I use to bea server so I take this very seriously

This last time which was 4 days ago was the worst, the service was not good, 10-15 sec after briing out our soup and salad the lady came to the table to ask if we were done and if she could take it.i had not eaten anything yet because I had looked down to check my work phone, may daughter had just eaten her salad and was no where near done, she stood in the corner by our table as if she was rushing us to eat. She came back two more times so I told her to take it before I even finished, the food was greasy and fishy, then when the bill came they charged me 18% garutity on a party of two. I was wondering why because now they seem to pick and choose who they add garutity too. After I looked at the menu and checked the prices I also realized she charged me a dollar more for everything that we ordered.. also most 3 extra for a side of scallops..I asked about it on the way out and she just replied ,"ohhhoo" I simply reply we won't be back. I'm really sad because I come here all the time and I really use to love them but now I will not return. I left my previous review down below
