Now I know why the door's window was boarded up & missing on Fri., Dec. 2, 2022 when I came here for the first & last time. I ordered 2 shrimp po boy sandwiches. One order was grilled w/ an order of fries & the other order was fried w/ garlic fries. I ordered 2 sauces but was charged for 3. When I drove home to Bolingbrook I noticed I didn't have 3 sauces like I paid for & 4 sets of fries which none were garlic tasting. Now, on this NEW menu that I was given when I walked in the door & started looking at the menu in the store posted above the register you would think it would state that fries come w/ the sandwich but it didn't! Once home, I immediately called the store; the cashier said the manager was out after I told her what happened & that I wanted my money returned for the sauce I didn't receive & the no garlic fries; she told me to call back the next day at 11a. I called Sat., & spoke w/ a new lady person & she said call him back later on today @5p. Later on that day @5:45p. I called back to speak w/ him the manager come to find out it's more than one but the young lady said, "we're busy can you call him back at," I immediately said to her, this is my 3rd time calling. She gave him the phone w/ out denouncing herself ... Just rude! The the manager gets on the phone & says, "the garlic fries were in your bag because I put them in the bag myself now is this about the sauce?" Immediately, I knew it was about him returning my money $4.50 & owning up to his mistakes than anything else. I said Sir, I see where this is going & I'm not going to argue w/ you about $4. fries. He said, "thank you & you have yourself a good night" & I said, "you too!" *Note to self: As an owner, if a customer calls me 3 times about a refund of $4.50 & a comment/ complaint ... Any business I should not be the owner of if I can not handle it better than this. I didn't want to say this is a black owned business but I know you knew! I guess this is why the prices are very pricey & "we" do mind paying the price because of the lack of professionalism...

Holy cow, yum. We were at Pappadeaux earlier in the day and decided to leave to find a more affordable place to eat, prices were OUTRAGEOUS. We ended up closer to home and found this GEM! I do not fancy seafood but my boyfriend loves it, and because I love him I always find something else on the menu to eat alongside some kind of fried shrimp and then casually taste his food.

I ordered 8 PC. Wings and 1/4 fried shrimp and he got the crab dinner. I ate one wing and kept asking him for his crab. I am a person that never orders crab, ever, not because i dont like it i just dont care. I would go to this spot and order the crab dinner everyday. The seasonings chef Chris puts in the butter, TO DIE FOR. I ran my fries in the sauce, the fried shrimp in the sauce, rolled the corn over and over in the sauce. Omg. The crab was so sweet and was so dang delicious. My boyfriend told me to go and order my own dinner after continously picking at his. The shrimp, as well. The best shrimp I've ever had. The breading, so good.

I got naked wings and they were too hot to eat and by the time I tasted his crab I didn't even care for the wings. There wasnt anything wrong with them, I just didn't want them after eating his food. Haha.

We will be back within the next couple of days for sure and we've already told all our friends about it! 😍💙🤭

I'd say any of the negative reviews about soggy fries or whatever is because of Togo ordering, food isn't going to stay crispy by thr time it gets to you, is 100% inaccurate. Our chicken so crispy, our fries BEAUTIFUl. Granted we did eat at the restaurant, and are so full...

Let me start off by saying seafood here has a great seasoning and good flavor. I got what is called the "Tidal Wave" bit on the pricey side for me but I get it. $106 got be 2lbs of king crab legs, two 6ounce lobster tails, 1/2lb of grilled shrimp and prefectly seasoned corn and potatoes. I am not sure if the butter sauce they give you is real butter, didn't taste like it but it was ok.

The atmosphere was good and the owner came out and talked to us very good guy. Good family owned business. I wanted to give them a try since they are local for me and I would come back but woukd try other options like grilled catfish, alligator or whatever. They have a pretty good selection of seafood.

One thing I would say in closing is would of liked to see fountain drink options. They had bottled water and can or bottles of soda but like the option for a fountain drinks.
