Subway — Restaurant in Austin

Maybe you’re wondering where I went. Maybe you don’t care here’s a little information about the Subway. You are thinking about going to. They cheat you on the correct amount of meat you’re supposed to get on your sandwich for some reason this stores prices are higher than others THE BOSS will work you and make you work shifts all by yourself. While you’re being recorded on their personal cameras. My first week here I got a complaint on Google. It is a very busy location and as a person who has worked fast food for nine years. I do try my best but after a couple months, I quit after my paycheck was shorted when I was working overtime- and I was told that The system had automatically clocked me out at a time before I had actually clocked out. I worked extended hours here six days a week. Working shifts completely by myself. I was not properly trained. Although I have had experience before at Subway. I would show to work at 12 and sometimes be left to do the lunch rush by myself while the manager would be in the back prepping stuff taking personal phone calls and not working to her best this place put a strong weight on my shoulders. The conversations I had including peoples race and then them hiring someone of their same race who walked out on me when I was supposed to train him and said that he was scared of me was so unappreciated. I was just doing my job . They have been given a D rating for their 2 health inspections. I was never given my earning statements after asking for it. There’s much more I could tell you, I won’t tell you all, but I will tell you just a little more, one time my manager dropped a bucket of bell peppers on the ground and insisted she could wash them off and put them back in the fridge and I told her no She should know in her 12 years of experience that that is not acceptable the night that I quit THE BOSS the husband, not the wife drop two things of bread on the floor and continue to put them in the fridge for the next morning. After my first few weeks, I would notice that hair was BAKED into the bread when I would show up for the afternoon shift. one day I even pulled hair out of the bottom of the spinach container while finishing someone’s sandwich that I had to throw away. I have always been an overworked unappreciated employee. I really hope that one day America changes for the better because some people are so ungrateful for the opportunities that they have been given when I have bent my back every day just to show that it is still not worth it. This year has been the worst year of my life and I don’t see things getting better anytime soon specially after all these years .Enjoy...

I had one of the worst experiences last night.(12/16) I walked in at 10:45pm to order a sub. They close at 11pm.

There was two women working but the taller one was the one who chose to “help” me.

She asked what she could get me. I replied that I needed a little time to pick because I hadn’t been to a subway in a long time.

She looks me dead in my eyes and says that I needed to hurry because they were closing soon.

In disbelief I asked her if she would prefer me to purchase something or leave.

I understand she might have had a bad day and it was late. But putting together a sandwich takes no longer than 5-10 mins. Convenience is part of the reason you go to a sub place.

Instead of being helpful and trying to give a suggestion. She chose to speak rudely to me. I decided not to order anything and walked out the door.

I didn’t catch your name last night Mrs. “I’m nice” but try to be more welcoming. Every person that walks in is spending hard earned money to support that business you work for and the check they give you.

very bad service the lady who made my sandwich I tell her to add more chicken to my sandwich and how much more I have to pay and she say 2 dollars and i say ok that's good and she just put 1 scoop of chicken and at the time of pay she charg me $3.50 extra for the chicken which wasn't the price so I ask her that way she charge me 3.50 more wen it was 2 dollars more only for the chicken and she responded that's plus tax you know you have to pay tax and I responded of course I know but this isn't not the tax this is the price so don't tell me you are charge me 1,50 tax of 2 dollars and she give me the receipt and I show her that the tax shows on the bottom after the total and not on the top with the price and she responded it's because I wasn't know the price and I tell her so way you say 2 dollars if you don't know the price and she say because am not gonna lose the time looking for the price if you want extra chicken you have to pay and I was are you talking serious and she yes that's the price, so I left the store, It was my first time on that store and...
