Boujee Bagels and Coffee Co — Restaurant in Austin

Was excited to give this a try after the glowing reviews on FB. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing-mainly due to the service. There were 4 workers there, one stood in front of the main counter talking to a customer the entire time, instead of moving off to the large area with tables. It made it difficult to read the posted menus, and as a new customer that was important. We ordered two iced coffees. I asked what flavor options they had, and was greeted with a blank stare followed by "the usual flavors". There was uncertainty on how to ring them up properly, and to indicate which drink was which upon handing them to us. I realize this is a new establishment, but someone who has the knowledge needs to be there. The coffee was good, though it did not taste like my flavoring was added. Some food options sounded unique, but the experience discouraged us from wanting to order more. Available donuts looked like Hyvee, with a steeper price. $34 for a dozen basic frosted donuts. It also did not smell of a bakery, so I am guessing everything is ordered in and just frosted/decorated in store. Nothing really Boujee about this, except the prices. Might give it another try in...

First when you walk into the place the smell of perfumes and things of the sort are so overwhelming I got a headache. I ordered a Carmel cooler coffee with the crushed up ice and whipped cream on top that I couldn't drink through a straw because the ice chunks were too big to go through it, and the whipped cream that was supposed to add sweetness didn't it was so bland it covered up the Carmel flavor. The beagle breakfast sandwich wasn't bad, flavor wise, but the menu says piled high meat and scrambled egg it's two pieces of thin ham and two small straps of bacon and a smaller then Mc Donald's eggs patty. The girl working really didn't know she was doing it seemed. The gourmet donuts that looked so good I had to get some got wrapped up in wax paper and put into a bag, not a box. The frosting and goodness came right off with the wax paper, what a waste of my money. Not happy with any...

I selected brunch as my review option because my friend and I come every other week consistently when we are in the area from Minneapolis, and we have had our bagels , frappes, and we tried one of the sandwiches which was fantastic as well . This by far is a 10/10 on all ends . From the food , to their coffees , to their smoothies and can’t forget to give them the up most credit on their service . Their NEW location address is on their Facebook page! If I remember correctly they are working on updating that! But they are relocated in Austin . Go check them out they are worth it!
