I'll start by saying I have never written a google review for anything, much less what should have been an unmemorable trip to a chain restaurant for a quick bite. But after receiving what was quite literally the worst service I have ever experienced and then throwing up shortly after my meal, I figured this was the right occasion.
I stood in line for 20+ minutes even though there was only one gentleman in front of me who the workers were flat-out ignoring. When he finally got to order his food, I noticed he asked for half chicken and half steak..and was then charged for QUADRUPLE meat at the register. I go to Chipotle often and because I am very gluten-intolerant, employees are great about changing their gloves before they start on my bowl. At this location, not so much. I asked the woman behind the counter if she wouldn't mind putting on a new pair, and she and her colleague at register exchanged smirks and then she proceeded to act like she didn't hear me. I asked again nicely, but she did not change them. I'm guessing this and the fact that she continued to touch her face and wipe her nose while going down the line was the reason I vomited shortly after arriving home.
While ordering, I asked for steak on my bowl and she proceeded to scoop about 3 strips of steak into the bowl - not even close to a full scoop, so I asked nicely for a bit more. When I got to the register, I was charged for "double meat". In no way did I get a double serving of meat, but judging by how rude/inconvenienced the worker acted at me even asking to scan my Chipotle app, I could tell it wasn't worth the discussion.
We stuck around to eat inside the restaurant because we were in the middle of running errands. There was only one table that was even remotely clean, and the place was swarmed with flies. The drink/condiment station was also filthy and was out of most things. While we were eating, we noticed that a couple of workers found time to refill their personal drinks using the machines, but did not bother to refill any of the silverware/napkins/lids/etc that were quite clearly empty. We also noticed that the same couple who walked in the door when we sat down to eat had not even began the ordering process by the time we were walking out the door to leave.
I am dumbfounded at the bad attitudes and the level of negligence at this location and would recommend eating absolutely anywhere else if you are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe customer service was great at this location. They had several employees available. They were allowing you to come in and place your order as long as you wear a mask but there was no dining inside. I decided to try the new cauliflower rice to lower the carb calories. It is two dollars extra. That was kind of a bummer as I feel like the pricing at chipotle is borderline high for the meal already. They were nearly out of black beans so I had pinto beans, I had fajita veggies, Pork, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and some medium salsa. I also ordered a small guacamole and chips. I opted for the lemonade ginger drink. The fountain drinks which had been off-limits are now open. The flavor of my burrito bowl was good, I will say that I could definitely taste the cabbagey flavor of the cauliflower rice. It wasn't necessarily a bad taste just a little bit strong. It did combine well with all the other ingredients. It was definitely plenty of food for a main meal. Interestingly enough even though I could see big pieces of cilantro in the guacamole I couldn't taste it at all and I was extremely thankful for this because I dislike the flavor as it taste like soap to me so I'm not really sure it was cilantro? The chips were fresh and good just the right amount of salt. I do wish you could get a half-and-half with half guacamole and half queso. The reason I did not offer five stars is the lemon ginger drink that was available didn't taste like it was freshly made up so I don't know how long it had been sitting in that fountain dispenser and I wished I had gotten one of the other options, maybe one of the Agua Fresca's. I will do that next time or I will ask how fresh the lemonade style beverages are. I haven't been to Chipotle for a very long time and this was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhy are people forced to order online? So I walk in. The first thing they say is only pork and no veggies. OK? So I got a bean and rice burrito but still charged veggies price. I accept it. I place my card in and pay, I'm handed my receipt and walk away. I am told to come back and pay again for my burrito, and I show him the receipt and say I did. I'm told I didn't and need to insert my card again. After doing so, I ask for my receipt. I'm told I already got it. I reply no you told me this one didn't count. I want the one that counts. He replied it doesn't work like that. I say I want a copy of my receipt or a refund. Again, he is confused. I need the manager, and she's in the restroom. Ok I'll wait. 3-5 min later, she comes out and just reprints the receipt and walks away. I walk outside and decide nothing burrito, with all this drama is not worth $10. I asked for the refund, and she replied, "What's wrong with it?" I respond you tell people you have only pork but the online section has all meats. She quickly interjects were under staffed. I ask what does understaffing have to do with online orders being made to order where walk-ins get rejected? Sir, those orders are already paid for. To which I may have rudely responded, "and mine isn't?". So I leave saying to myself. "I'm done with Chipotle." So if anyone from Chipotle decides to read this, please answer this question. Is it easier to decline a customer who walks in their options than it is to decline an online order altogether because online transactions have a better profit margin than in person customer...
