It saddens me to write this review, especially since "Pho Please" has been one of my go-to restaurants since 2016. However, I want to be clear: it wasn’t the food that led me to leave this review, it was the unacceptable customer service.
My family and I have been loyal patrons for years. "Pho Please" was our introduction to pho, and we’ve returned time and again for their flavorful beef pho. Sadly, due to how we were recently treated, we will not be returning.
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, my family visited the restaurant for lunch. One of our younger siblings, who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), brought outside food due to sensory sensitivities. In the past, we’ve explained this to previous managers, who were understanding and allowed us to dine in; long as we were respectful and disposed of our own trash. This accommodation had never been an issue until now.
After placing our order, we were stopped by the current manager, who said, “One of your kids has brought outside food, that’s not allowed.” The statement was delivered bluntly, without room for discussion. We calmly explained our situation and past accommodations. The manager responded, “Well, y’all should have known better; there’s a sign outside.” We reiterated that most of us had ordered and paid for meals, and that one of our family members has a diagnosed disability. The manager replied dismissively, “Okay, y’all can eat here this time. But don’t bring outside food again; doesn’t matter the reason.”
We decided to stay and eat, but the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Though the food was its usual quality, the atmosphere created by the manager’s handling of our situation ruined the meal.
I’m writing this as a warning to future customers: if you or your loved ones have special needs or require accommodations, don’t expect empathy or flexibility here. We were deeply disappointed, not by the food, but by the lack...
Read moreI want to say the food is beyond amazing! This was my third time to visit. However, the one star review is due today 18th Feb 2022 I was going for lunch around 2-3pm. The cashier a bald, white male with sleeve tattoos was talking normal but when he took my payment he ran it through and for some reason asked to run it again? It was declined due to my banks fraud protection the second time. The first timeit actually went through I come to find out and was charged for it! I didn't even get to eat here this time or sit or be served but I was charged the initial money of 17.86$. The cashier clearly messed up and I don't understand if it went through why not have let me sit and have my meal? But as I said he was talking normal but on the second time he said very loudly and smirky attitude, "your card is declined!" It was declined after a numerous repeat transaction by the cashier and after my meal being paid for at first and then repeated to make the same transaction over and over. That is why my bank blocked the card.. I called my bank after to discover this and saw on my online account, so. I paid for a meal and was declined service or food and embarrassment of the handled from the cashier, he could of asked for another card, and not made a scene from his own mistake. I was on lunch from work but decided to go elsewhere and most likely will take my business elsewhere from now on. The lady cashiers are great and food is great but it was this guy. I have already called my bank to have the pending and transactions from this incident be blocked or disputed.. this could of been avoided but I'm not sure what this cashiers deal was or reason and to make an excess scene and smirky attitude to announce an...
Read more888 Asian you have some competition! I tried this place out today. I really enjoyed eating here. The food was prepared really fast. Staff was very awesome and friendly. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone in the mood for some pho. There is no buffet here but for the price of the food you really can't complain.
The facility very modern looking and a lot of lighting! I was like man this place isn't dark like most places are that you walk into. They have plenty of cool seating. I did like the bar stool area. Nice to see change in the way you sit in a place. All the silverware, spoons, chop sticks, and condiments are at the tables.
One thing that did bother me was trying to reach for the cilantro, limes, red onions at the soda fountain area. It was pain because you have this protection glass in the way for the right reasons but man it was hard to reach for the stuff that was in the way back. I have some long monkey arms too and it was still a pain for me.
If you dig some great strong coffee, Vietnamese coffee will kick Starbucks coffee anytime.
If you need to make adjustments to your order they will do that for you too. One of my guys from work asked if he could replace his noodles with more veggies and they did that for him for no extra charge.
The bowls of the pho are perfectly portioned right for the average eater.
One thing this place nice and quiet until it starts to get busy around noon. Then the noise level goes from...
