I have been a fan of Brooklyn Breakfast Shop for a little while now - I stumbled across them on a lunch break somewhere around a year ago and I have been back countless times. I have dreams about the biscuits, fresno cream cheese, and pickles (If only I was kidding). One of the first times I went to the trailer, the owner, Ryan, was working and asked if he could tell me and my coworker why the food we were about to dig into was special. He explained the special qualities in the food he makes. He explained why his biscuits are so unbelievably tasty. He talked about the small details that go into his meals. It was a foodie's dream. Fast forward a bit, and I had Brooklyn Breakfast Shop cater my wedding and I could not be happier with that decision. Every part of the process from the first point of contact, to the tasting, to the communication leading up to the day of, to the actual service and presentation of the food - it was all unbelievable. Ryan (owner) brought two of his employees - Dominic and Darcy - and they were such hard workers, but so sweet and attentive to the guests. I had met Dominic at the trailer in the past and he is always on it. He listens, he engages, he is quick - just an awesome person. Darcy, I only had interacted with at the tasting prior to the wedding but she was a rock star. And of course, Ryan, was the real MVP. He had such an awesome set up for the food prep. He was so kind to me and my husband. He makes you feel like you're friends every time you talk to him.
Every single thing I ate at my wedding was delicious. I have zero complaints or critiques. It really was that good. The catering menu is slightly different from the trailer menu, but literally every piece of food I have eaten that has come from Brooklyn Breakfast Shop has been well worth it. Ryan also took my input on what I wanted for the wedding and made the menu so incredibly perfect that I am still riding a cloud of happiness. Though, gotta say my favorite part was finding the boxes him and his team left in the catering fridge labeled "B+G" (bride + groom) and absolutely demolishing them as soon as we got home.
TLDR: If you get the chance to eat at Brooklyn Breakfast Shop or use them for catering, you will...
Read moreFinally got to try the bagels, they usually sell out within the first hour or so of opening. They were already sold out of everything, so tried the sesame with charred scallion cream cheese. They were generous with the sesame seeds on top and had a good amount of cream cheese. I am from Jersey, so I do have fairly high expectations for bagels. The bagels were somewhat flat, and didn’t have that signature crispy outside with a fluffy, chewy interior. The chew was good, but I miss the crisp and the fluffiness. I’ve also previously had one of their breakfast bowls. The potatoes were boiled, they have no crispiness to them, as one would expect from a hash bowl. The bowl overall was also lacking in flavor, it definitely needed more seasoning.
If I were to offer any advice to this business, it would be: make more bagels, and work on the texture make more of the bagels that are the most popular (everything for sure) if you’re going to make breakfast hash bowls, make sure the potatoes are crispy and everything is really well seasoned pare down the menu and really perfect the items you have
Definitely check out the area and show small businesses some love, I hope to see BBS improve in...

My friend and I came here this morning after reading the good reviews. Waited 15min in line, noticed the snarky sign on the front that says "food trucks are not fast food, expect to wait 20-30 minutes, don't order if that's a problem, and don't yell at our staff." Hmm, okay, noted, maybe just some impatient customers.
We ordered two bacon, egg & cheese biscuits. Despite the warning, we still went through the three phases of patience, "1) man, this is taking a while, 2) dang did they forget us? And 3) I'm about to go up there.
Right when we got to stage three, our names were finally called. I was initially excited to see the size of the biscuit, as I was hungry, because brunch had turned into lunch.
When I opened the wrapper, my face dropped, as I had been given a sesame seed bagel instead of a biscuit. Same goes for my friend. This was the last option on the whole menu I would have picked. We looked back at the truck, decided we couldn't wait another eternity, so we choked down our garden hose rubber...
