I've never left a restaurant a bad review before, but this one is necessary. We ordered in person via the drive through (and inside the third time). First, for some reason they split our order on two tickets, no big deal, the drive through worker read back our order and it was correct. When the food came out, we were missing two blizzards. We let them know, and the assistant manager came out. He said we didn't order them. We assured him we did, and even showed him our receipt. He said we weren't charged for the two missing blizzards, however, we even showed him our bank account on our phone to show that we were charged. He still said there was nothing he could do. He said that he was only an assistant manager, and that we needed a full stop manager to fix the order. He told us to go home and try calling in the morning. I didn't want my younger brother and sister to go home without their blizzard, so I went inside to go order them again. When I walked in I could hear him complaining about us from the kitchen for a good couple of minutes. While they were talking I heard the drive through worker lie and say that we asked her to cancel the two blizzards. I don't want the workers to be in trouble though. I've worked in the service industry for years. In a safe work environment, people rarely lie about minor mistakes. It happens in when the workers are scared for their jobs. Which makes me wonder why she felt a need to lie to the assistant manager. Lastly, they still got the order again. One of the blizzards was a Chessecake blizzard. I repeated three times that there wasn't supposed to be strawberry in it, but it still came out with strawberry in it. Working in service has taught me that you don't leave problems unresolved. The assistant manager tried to send us home without trying to help the situation. The extra blizzards are still charged to the...
Read moreWeâre from out of town and came here for a sweet treat after a particularly rough day. The night shift took our order ( a Reeseâs pieces cookie dough blizzard and a French silk pie blizzard) and when we received it, the French silk pie blizzard was stark white vanilla ice cream with the contents of the French silk pie blizzard. On the menu board and online the blizzard is made with chocolate ice cream but there was no chocolate ice cream in my blizzard. So we whipped around and I walked in to ask if it could be remade as I was expecting a chocolate blizzard. I was then told by the employee at the register that âthe French silk pie blizzard is made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrupâ and that there was chocolate syrup in there. And then I was told that âthe blizzard is normally made with vanilla ice cream and if I wanted it to be made with chocolate ice cream then I needed to ask for it upon ordering.â I referred back to the menu and pictures online and told the employee that I didnât know that and was expecting the blizzard that was pictured on their menu and asked if it could please be remade. They ended up remaking it but it was very rushed and had no toppings/mix-ins in the ice cream or on top. It was just chocolate ice cream and a blob of cool whip on top. The night staff are very rude and intimidating so I left and really regret not just asking for a refund. I ended up throwing away the rushed version of the blizzard I had ordered because I donât trust the way...
   Read moreDear Dairy Queen,
I have visited you Town Creek, Austin, Tx location numerous times over the past few years. However, this time was a little bit different. I walked next door to talk to my roommate which owns the business next to this location called 1776 cheesesteak co. while I waited on my significant other then I went to dine in your restaurant. I came back to my car which was no where to be found. I went back in to talk to the assistant manager. He informed me that they were not responsible for any tows and that I would have to contact the company. While I was dining the tow truck driver came in and shouted if anyone drove a white ford f 150. I contacted the company and told them that I had been dining there and that they towed my car. I had my reciept. They informed me that I would have to come and show them the reciept even though i didnt have a car to get there. I went and I showed them the reciept, and they informed me that they had towed my car before I ordered. What kind of dairy queen tows its patrons cars. This seems like some sort of scam operation. They informed me that I would have to pay 193$ which I have the reciept for to get my car back from them. I had no other choice due to the fact that i had 1500$ worth of my work equipment in the back seat. I just think its a rip off for a dairy queen which is never at full capacity to tow peoples cars and charge them 193$ for a 20$ meal....
