The Happy Lemon LINC location is finally open starting May 6, 2023. Visited on day 2 - crowds were thin but definitely appreciate the BOGO offer! If you are a happy lemon lover, absolutely try this location. We got 2 locations in Austin within a year, that’s amazing - no trips to Houston for happy lemon. Another thing to note, Happy lemon is better for fruit and lemon drinks - hence happy lemon, milk drinks are ok. I highly recommend the Fresh Dragon Fruit Lychee Juice w/ Salted Cheese if you like dragon fruit and their mango passion fruit drink is good too - refreshing and not overly sweet unless you go with 100% sugar. For milk - the Okinawa (dirty boba) is popular - if you don’t mind the sugar bomb. The taro Uber cream puff is good too. Plenty of parking out front and easy tiger next door, Tesla supercharger nearby as well. They have high chair seating and group tables but mostly we would get a drink to go. I remember the first Austin store in Parmer, their first few days was chaos because they got huge crowds but this one was much more tame and well managed so kudos! Glad to have good bubble tea spots in...
Read moreHappy Lemon is one of my favorite places on Earth, and this location is particularly special. The staff is always friendly, and the drinks are consistently delicious. It's so good that I come here almost every week, despite living an hour away. It's my go-to spot for a pick-me-up before sitting in I-35 traffic or for taking friends and family after a meal.
Their menu has something for everyone, with a variety of flavor bases, toppings, and options for adjusting sugar and ice levels.
For something refreshing, try the S1 (Fresh Passionfruit Mango Green Tea) with mango boba. I think traditional boba lovers will enjoy the Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with Boba, and coffee enthusiasts might like the Vietnamese Coffee with Salted Cheese.
The location is bright, clean, and not too loud. During the weekdays, it's a great place to study, work, or catch up with friends. They also offer board games, Wi-Fi, and a decent amount of seating. Overall, the vibe is super sweet and uplifting.
If you visit often, download their app and scan your rewards to get free drinks - it adds up, trust me lol. You can never have too much...
Read moreWe've hosted a boba brunch event for 2 years now at Happy Lemon Linc since shortly after they opened for Austin Asian American Film Festival. Hong and Dang are so welcoming and it's been fantastic to see them grow their business and expand to do more catering and events.
Last year they took us on as their first event and whipped out 100 drinks like pros from 10:30am-11:30am as we ushered our badgeholders through their last day of a 5-day long film festival. The lure of boba was too enticing and we had a full house at the venue before they headed over to the theater to watch more new and independent AAPI film.
This year we hosted the brunch again and they have noticeably improved their catering options and provided a dedicated table setup for the drinks and we brought in some Round Rock donuts and kolaches for everyone to enjoy with their Boba drinks. We also frequently met informally at their location leading up to our annual festival and it's been great to see the community and welcoming atmosphere continue to fill their shop throughout all...
