Jimmy John's Fails Vegetarian Customer!
I recently had a dismal encounter with Jimmy John's that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. As a vegetarian, I rely on establishments to honor my dietary preferences, but unfortunately, Jimmy John's fell far short of even the most basic expectations.
I ordered a veggie sandwich online, trusting that my request would be fulfilled accurately. However, upon reaching my destination and eagerly anticipating my meal, I discovered to my dismay that I had been given a turkey sandwich instead. This mistake was not a mere oversight; it was a blatant disregard for my dietary restriction and a complete failure on their part to deliver what was promised.
Returning to the store to address the issue, I expected a sincere apology and a swift resolution. Instead, I was met with indifference and apathy. The staff's response was shockingly dismissive, asking me, "What do you want us to do about it?" Such callousness only added insult to injury, exacerbating the already poor customer experience.
Moreover, it's essential to emphasize that this wasn't a minor error like forgetting an ingredient. They served me a sandwich containing meat, completely disregarding my vegetarianism. When I requested them to rectify the situation by preparing the sandwich I initially ordered, their response was shockingly unprofessional, telling me to "chill out."
This entire ordeal speaks volumes about Jimmy John's lack of regard for their customers' needs and their cavalier attitude towards customer service. I did not receive my sandwich until 2:16pm. The address that I ordered the delivery to is less than a mile away. When I called the store asking where my food was, I was told that they were "slammed" and that my food had been sent by cycle delivery at 12:50pm with 3 other orders. I received a call from the delivery driver at 1:59pm asking where the building was located. I told the driver the name of the business and it still took 15 minutes to receive my food. When the driver did finally show up, he put the blame on me because I did not put the name of the business on the order. The business is the only business located at the address that I provided. Read moreI love JJ and I order once a week but not sure I should continue to. The last 4x I have ordered a SPICY Italian sub they didn’t put hot peppers. I let it go the last 3x but last night I called to let them know since we ordered two spicy subs both missing peppers as well as additional toppings. After speaking to 3 different people I was asked in a rude tone “so really the only issue is no peppers?” Yes, the only issue is there are no peppers in my spicy sub....They also notoriously forget items like chips and cookies when I get it delivered and I don’t like to call and complain since it is only a couple bucks but it’s not something that should be looked over so much.
