Back in November, I stopped by Lavaca for the second half of the early NFL Sunday slate and the place was packed. Every room had a variety of games on, and the place itself was seemingly never ending with another area behind another area behind another area. All of the games were on except, of course, the one I was interested in, but a bartender was accommodating and turned it on quickly as another game ended. All Staff were super friendly.

Drinks were made well; my guest and I both had Moscow mules but all the other drinks looked great.

All we had to eat were wings but the nachos and other dishes looked awesome. I will say the wings were a bit expensive, but they were exactly what I look for in bar wings. Would have loved some celery or carrot sticks, or some serving dishes, but the crumbled blue cheese was a nice touch.

Overall, great spot to catch any game and enjoy some bar...

Had high hopes. Emailed ahead of my trip to make sure they had the nfl package. They do! Sweet, show up 5 minutes before they open. I get a seat at bar and order drink. The bartenders are awesome! I ask if they can show this game and she said you have to ask the dude. The only guy there. I do and he’s annoyed and says it on one tv near the bathroom. Ok, I head over there but no seats. I ask the ladies again if they can put on one of the multitude of TVs nobody is sitting in front of. They said of course we need to ask the guy. He finally comes over and blows me off and says it’s in the corner. I said there are no seats there. He just walks away. Even the bartenders were shocked. He’s a complete douche and has no respect for the customer. Maybe it’s a Midwest thing, but in Chicago we’d bend over backwards to help you find your game and spend money. This dude needs some...

Wow, Where do I begin. This was actually my first time at this bar and the friends I was with spoke very highly about the food. Specifically the tacos, wings, and quesadillas. The food was outstanding, came to the table Fast and Fresh, and the bartender's were amazing. This one guy in particular behind the bar, he was the manager, I believe his name is Ruben, really great experience interacting with him and seeing how easily he managed such a packed bar after our ACL show ended nearby. Dude didn't miss a beat, and neither did the staff. I found out that I conveniently work about two blocks from this place and I will most definitely be stopping by weekly to relax after work and enjoy some of the sports games, which they also have set up really well. I'm very impressed with my first...

Great downtown sports bar. Lots of TV's to watch your favorite team. We were able to watch Army vs Wisconsin football! Food is great and service is fast. Order at the window near the front of the restaurant and they bring it out quickly when ready. The sweet potatoes fries are fantastic, good price, and good portion size. Boneless wings are excellent too, real chicken breast and well seasoned. We had the cajun wings, see pic! No COVID protocols here. Very packed and everyone in close proximity. We are vaccinated, but still a concern.

While visiting Austin on a business trip I stopped in here to have lunch while I waited for my room to be ready. You seat yourself in the bar area and then ordered your food up at a window and get a number for it to be delivered when it was ready. The blackened chicken tacos were delicious and they're also quite large considering they were inexpensive. The chicken wings as well as the sweet potato fries were also great. The vibe was fun and relaxed and there was plenty of seating.
