Pizza Leon in Austin, Texas, was nothing short of a culinary symphony, an enchanting revelation of taste and texture that left me spellbound. To describe the pizza as a mere 5 out of 5 stars would be an understatement; it was the zenith of gastronomic perfection.
The first heavenly bite transported me to a realm of exquisite flavors, where the ingredients harmonized like a finely-tuned orchestra.    Read moreNever heard of this place but when I googled pizza delivery last night around 11 this place popped up. Since they have a lot of positive reviews and theyâre open late I gave it a shot. I ordered delivery for 2 calzones, one custom with a white sauce and broccoli and the other was the bbq chicken and a side of ranch. My order wasnât properly tracked on the Slice app. It was supposed to be delivered by 12:42 and around 1 it showed that it was still scheduled to be delivered at that 12:42.
Around 1:30 my order was delivered but it was completely wrong. There were 2 calzones, I canât tell exactly what they are but they both appear to be cheese and tomato sauce, maybe thereâs pepperoni, idk. No ranch.
I contacted customer support through their Slice app and they werenât able to get their call through to them. I contacted support again, today, to request a refund and around 4pm they said that Pizza Leon is closed because they didnât answer their phone. I mentioned that their website shows that theyâre open and they said theyâll try again tomorrow.
I wasnât able to eat what I got bc I canât eat tomatoes right now due to some health concerns. My partner had some of it but he wasnât a fan since he was expecting bbq, not cheese and tomato. I spent over 40$ for these 2 calzones. I didnât want to leave a review which is why I contacted support but if theyâre not going to answer the phone then I guess Iâll share my experience here for others to...
Read moreJust experienced something incredible on the culinary front - a double pineapple with anchovy pizza! đđ I know, it sounds like a wild combination, but trust me, it's phenomenal. The extra layer of pineapple adds a lush, intense sweetness, creating a fascinating contrast with the salty, umami-packed anchovies. It's a fusion I never expected to work, but it does, brilliantly. The interplay of flavors is complex yet harmonious, making every bite an adventure.
This pizza is a testament to the power of unconventional thinking, not just in technology, but in food as well. The boldness of the double pineapple pairs unexpectedly well with the briny depth of anchovies, creating a taste profile that's as innovative as it is delicious. It's moments like these that remind me how breaking the norms can lead to extraordinary outcomes. If you're up for a culinary challenge that rewards your taste buds, this is it....
