JuiceLand — Restaurant in Austin

I visited a JuiceLand for the first time the other day and because of the person who helped me, I will definitely be returning! I was helped by Bennett, who has the warmest smile I've ever seen, who truly seems to love what he does, which is important for any industry. Im definitely going to trust someone who's invested, passionate, and cares about what they do. He was very knowledgeable about the selection and all the ingredients. While i was trying to decide, he helped another customer who was looking for something with very specific food sensitivities and helped her find the best product for that. Sometimes going above and beyond to create an inviting and welcoming environment (in an area that's known to be a little crazy) is what secures a repeat customer, before they even try the food! (I'm all about good vibes!) It felt good to not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision as a new customer who isn't familiar with the menu. Staff refused to make me juice because he said he "juicer was being cleaned". Meaning he didn't want to clean the juicer. He was waiting for his shift to end soon, and was just waiting to go home by not serving the juices at the end of his shift. I come to this juice land all the time and it's 5 starts every time. Except today: new staff. Young kid. His mom and brother were waiting outside to give him a ride or something so he was in a rush to leave by not doing his job. I did arrive 10 min before closing time as I always do after work. They should advertise they close at 8:30pm If they are not going to make juices before closing so I don't waste my time driving here. Thank you...

Someone that works here was super rude to me on the phone today when I called in an order. They mocked my name in a hostile tone and asked me to confirm that it was really my name. After I confirmed that it was indeed my name, they said “interesting” in a really unpleasant tone then gave me the total. I didn’t say anything when I went to pick up my smoothie because they made me feel uncomfortable.
