I want to start by saying that I am an extremely hard person to please. I’m not even sure that it’s possible. I’m the kind of person that will seek out a reason to give you a bad review. I’m also the kind of person to make sure that I give credit where it’s due. With that being said, I have been here a couple of times and every time I have had great service, great food and that’s all I can really ask for. I ordered on Sunday July 20 at around 7 PM and I wasn’t able to place an order online. I called and the system was down for some reason. The employee was extremely sweet and appreciative that I let them know about the issue and they fixed it immediately. I was able to place my order not even a minute after the call. I picked it up 15 minutes later and they had it hot and ready for me. I wasn’t able to go inside because I did have my pistol on me concealed and I did not want to go through the hassle of showing it to everybody just to be able to walk in. Employee saw that I was in my wheelchair and she noticed I may need some assistance, which I didn’t. I was just reading the signage on the door (30.06) but she was very attentive and very helpful anyways. So with that she kindly walked it out to me. I rode back home in my wheelchair five blocks and my food was still hot. The Barbacoa tacos were amazing. I was expecting low quality or ground beef passed off as barbacoa. No, it was legit and so delicious. I also come from San Antonio, the city with the best tacos in Texas. I rarely find a place that’s impressive in prices, service and food and Salsa Limon hits the mark on all three. This should be enough to let you know that the tacos here are legit. I never give five stars to anyone unless I am absolutely overwhelmingly impressed and I don’t think I’ve ever given one so don’t take that as a ding on this report. Those are reserved for extremely special...

Went in last night and it was chaos. I am a reoccurring customer and have been here when it has been busy, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
There were teenagers running around the place completely unsupervised. I also overheard a group of girls talking about being there with the owner's son, which might explain why they were running around as if they owned the place. The employees seemed to be completely overwhelmed. She might have been dealing with the boss's son(?), but the kids ended up going behind the bar and pouring drinks for each other.
I ended up sitting on the patio because the music was incredibly loud and the group was chaotic. Most of the others on the patio were also complaining. Thankfully, staff and food were great and were promptly brought out.
I went in to get another drink and one from the group (clearly drunk) ran around and fell on a table, shattering all of the glasses that were on it. Clearly he was wasted, and was practically carried out by his friends. After this, I saw that another employee came in and cleaned up the glass. I also heard an employee getting yelled at and she was clearly overwhelmed crying.
This whole situation is ridiculous. There didn't seem to be a manager or anyone who was capable of taking charge of this situation. I am almost positive that these were underage kids, and am sad to say that I will not be returning to this location again. The food was great and staff is polite but this situation should...

Salsa Limón in Austin absolutely delivers on taste no doubt about it. The pastor and barbacoa were out-of-this-world good, perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. And the margaritas? A straight up 10/10. If happiness had a taste, it would be whatever magic they put in those drinks. I’d come back for the food alone no hesitation.
But here’s where things took a turn. As I was walking around, taking in the vibe and snapping a few photos, I couldn’t help but notice one of the employees deeply engaged with his phone… while wearing gloves. Now, I’m all for a little multitasking, but watching him scroll, tap, touch random surfaces, and then go right back to handling food without changing gloves was a little unsettling. It was like watching a suspense movie where you know something bad is about to happen you just don’t know when.
Look, I get it. We all sneak a glance at our phones at work. But when gloves are involved, they’re not just an accessory they’re supposed to be a barrier between my delicious taco and whatever bacteria is living on that screen. Unfortunately, this wasn’t just a quick slip up it was a full on glove wearing, phone loving, food prepping trifecta that made me question what else goes on behind the scenes.
Would I come back? Absolutely. The food is just that good. But let’s just say next time, I’ll be hoping the staff keeps the texting and taco making in...
