Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Austin

Come here once in while. Pushed red button & waited & waited. If short staffed I understand but just wish someone could’ve said hold on or something. I waited 6 minutes & had to push red button again. Not more than 2-3 cars on the other side so couldn’t understand why it was taking a bit to take my order. Should’ve seen that as a sign. Ordered #7. Emily, the server was very nice (she’s the only reason I gave 2 stars for service). I was surprised at how much my meal was & then when the server gave it to me - the order taker gave me a large! I didn’t ask for a large! No wonder it was more than I expected. I always get #7 as medium which is how it comes unless one asks to upsize. Got my food - fries were old & hard. My coney had burnt chili- I took 2 bites hoping the first bite was just bad, nope! It was gross! So my order was upsized when I didn’t want it & cost MORE than I wanted/needed AND could not eat my meal! It was $11.34 for a horrible uneaten meal. Super mad! I don’t get to eat out often. Called & asked for another order, the manger seemed not happy. I don’t wanna go back there for a meal with...

Sonic is my favorite place for a quick diet coke. As well as it is just a few blocks from my house so I am there very often for a diet coke and my kids get dinner there 1 time a week. Although, if I could rate this one less than 1 star I would. The service has gotten so terrible it is ridiculous. Everytime I go there something happens. Usually the order is wrong like it was tonight. I received someone else's order. Sadly did not realize it until I was home. Yesterday I paid for my diet coke with my card the machine said accepted. However the car hop accused me of not paying rudely and to the extreme. Took my diet coke back despite everything I was saying. She went inside and then came back and stated I was good. No apology for how I was treated. These are just 2 instances. I will not be returning to this sonic for a long time. I hope they figure out their staffing and get...

Guys I know we all know about the awesome drink discounts that you can get during happy hour, and the special meal deal days, but have any of you tried the Pretzel Twist?! Oh my goodness! I love Pretzel's and usually try one wherever they sell em. So I saw the new $1.99 twist and was like hu, let's try it.... BAAAMMM! That thing was so good I got another one! Seriously, it comes out piping hot - fresh out of the fryer - it's crispy on the outside, but the minute you bite into it, it's as soft as a cloud. Melt in your mouth kind.. Mmmmm so good. It's served with the classic cheese sauce, and while I sometimes decide to dip, this pretzel is so good you can eat it without the cheese. You know what they say about a great steak - you won't need the A-1!
