Loyal customer and recommend this location. It is always a pleasure walking into this Starbucks. Always busy and yet, the customer service is always outstanding and the staff are always friendly with superb drinks. Some of the customers could do a better job at cleaning up after themselves though, including cleanliness when using the restroom so others are able to use it after them and the staff does not have more work onto their busy plate. The location is within the Turnberry Hotel, so it is always clock work in there. However, the Starbucks staff is always on top of it and they manage to make sure the experience and ambience is tidy and presentable. If you are a frequent flyer, I have observed first hand how they take the initiative to remember the person's "the usual" order. Just give them a greeting! Since it’s located in a resort, it’s always busy with long lines, which is understandable. This morning, on 05/05/2024 at 10:18 am, I went inside and waited in line to place an order. While I was waiting, my 3-year-old son went by the cashiers where they had a basket of bananas. He grabbed one, so I went there and told the cashier, “Please give him one; I’m waiting in line and will pay when I get to the cashier.” She called the manager, and he stated that my son couldn’t have the banana until we paid. I told him, “Sir, he’s 3 years old and doesn’t understand waiting in line. I will pay when I reach the cashier.” However, he declined to give a 50-cent banana until we paid. When I addressed the issue with the staff, they told me there was nothing they could do. I was given two drinks that both contained actual dairy, which is unacceptable for me. I can't believe their response was essentially a refusal to help; this was the worst service I've ever experienced at a Starbucks.
The management or whoever is in charge really needs to speak to their staff about taking care of regular customers. The person I spoke to was named Brianna, and I'm not sure if her response was based on her discretion or company policy at this location, but it was appalling.
