LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Avon

Went to get dinner to go on a Tuesday early evening 3:40pm The bill came to $150 We ordered four steak dinners, three large ribeye steaks and one fillet mignon 9oz One of the ribeyes had so much fat we threw most of it away, The filet mignon had a fold on it and fat on it. ,was about an inch and a half thick it was supposed to come with loaded, mashed potatoes, which we never received so just the filet mignon in a box. We ordered the shrimp appetizer with just the shrimp in the box no sauce. we had two regular salads and a Caesar salad we asked for extra dressings, Caesar and ranch. We had no salad dressings . Just two Italian dressings. we also asked for extra bread when we placed this order there was no bread, no butter whatsoever in the order. We also ordered two sides of mushrooms, which were not seasoned and seemed like they were left in water, soggy and tasted dirty. Needless to say we called and had to take, some of it back to get the right orders we could eat ,when the manager informed my son-in-law to just take the food back because they were just gonna throw it in the trash, didn’t even bother to look at the mushrooms to see what was wrong with them? She gave him a piece of cake and another appetizer , but not the appetizer we ordered the chicken roll appetizers. My daughter is a good chipper. She left $15 for the tip when we picked the food up the first time ,they put the $15 tip on top of that so the check came to $180 in total, the manager says she’ll make it right and send my daughter a gift card. ,so she sent her a $30 gift card so at least we got the tip back which no one deserved because we couldn’t even eat any of the food without the accessories that go with it and it was all cold by the time we were done with the fiasco, I live local in Avon Lake. I like to think that we always try to shop local, but I will not return to that steakhouse ever again. It was an insult to give us back $30 of a tip that we already paid!! I called the next day and spoke to the assistant manager who told me he would tell the head manager, and she would give me a call the next day still haven’t heard from her and really don’t want to at this point. I would’ve even understood if it was a busy dinner hour order but there was hardly anyone there at 3:30. I am not a person who leaves reviews or tries to say negative things about businesses, but I am very disappointed. We will drive the extra 10 minutes to Texas roadhouse the next time if we...

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I've always been a fan of Longhorn and love the Flo's Filet. I've been a patron for years and was excited to find this one in Avon, Ohio. We were seated in a timely manner and the atmosphere was pretty typical for a Longhorn. The service was mediocre, however. Slow and inattentive. But it was the food that really made this Friday night out with my wife a complete disappointment. We ordered the Spinach dip appetizer and it was so salty we could not even eat it. After a few bites, we both felt nauseas. Now I like salt and I've even had to be conscious to put less salt in my diet, but this was so over the top we just couldn't believe it. It was horrible! My filet and fries arrived and I thought that the kitchen was messing with us. The fries were SO SALTY too! Way overseasoned! And the filet was even extra salty! I thought for sure the server told the cook and they decided to punish us for our comments on the appetizer! The filet was cooked to a perfect temperature...but it was so salty that it was not enjoyable at all, and even though I was SO looking forward to those fries soaking up that steak juice, I couldn't eat more than a few and had to just give up. What an AWFUL experience! It ruined date night, we had to drink a LOT of water the rest of the night and it will be very unlikely that we will ever return to that location. Once bitten, twice shy. What a shame to take such a great business model and completely ruin it, particularly at today's higher prices...

Horrible experience this Saturday for my birthday. To start, the wait was 90 minutes because of the size of our party (5 adults and 2 little ones). We waited forever for this one party to finally pack up and leave after eating their store brought cake. Now I get it was a Saturday night so I understood Wait or 45-60 minutes but when we reached the 105 minute mark and that table finally left we were already not happy. Do they really only have 1 table for “large” parties?? Have they never had larger parties. I saw many tables of 6, full of people that arrived well after us seated. Hell they were done before we even got seated. one member of our party was a baby in a high chair this would have worked great without the ridiculous wait. Finally seated our waitress was good no issues with her. Ordered our food and it took a good 30 or more minutes for that to come. Mine was good but cold but I’m a mom so I’m used to that. My mothers was cold and my brothers medium steak looked fresh off the butchers block. We all had medium but his totally did not appear medium. The manager wasn’t very accomadating. Nearing now 9 pm, my kids were growing tired after our 4 hour extravaganza we finally got our check and got the hell out.
