McDonald's — Restaurant in Avon

It was horrible. I was there on March 17,2019 at 10:15 PM. Three employees can't make a pot of coffee in fifteen minutes. One of the employee actually told me we don't have coffee. Granted I was there forty five minutes before they close. The other one came and said I will make you a fresh one, and I said ok and paid for large coffee. Five minutes later He came and gave me a large cold cofee. I Informed them the coffee was cold. The girl who earlier told me we don't have coffee said I will make a fresh coffee. The waiting continued and ten minutes later she came with a large coffee filled 85%. I open the cup lid and saw some oily stuff on the cofee. It was disgusting. That's why I always ask for creamer and sugar on the side. I like to put it and mix it myself. I also enjoy the coffee aroma. Anyways, I asked for my money back and they gave it to me. The manager told me while she was giving me my money back. If you come back tomorrow and ask for me. I will give you a large coffee for free. When she was telling me that I have been inside McDonald's for fifteen minutes. It's now 10:30PM. I would have preferred she made me a fresh pot of cofee right there. Since that's the reason why I went there the first place. If I wanted a cofee the next day, then I would have gone there the next day. It was a bizzar experience. I live less than two miles from this particular McDonald's in Avon. I don't know how they managed to put all this incompetent employees...

We visit this particular McDonald’s quite frequently due to the fact that it’s the closest location to our house that has a “Play Place.” As with any fast food location, we’ve experienced (via the drive-thru) our share of longer than 15 minutes waiting periods, forgotten McNugget sauces, a couple of toyless Not-So-Happy Meals & extreme time variances waiting for food. If you have large, customized orders then ordering inside is the safest bet for reassurance. Behind the counters has always had then tendency to seem a bit chaotic with scurrying crew members that don’t seem to have a synchronized workflow...however, the variances are already expectations before entering & problem enough to cause a fuss. The lobby is aesthetically updated, inviting & usually clean. The Play Place is where this family has always eaten and it even has it’s own separate area which keeps the little ones, & their occasional joyous shrills contained. It has a cool, orbital theme/feel, roomy sleek seating, & an overall decent sized play structure plus an exclusive area for toddler aged kids to safely play. Slow service. Seems as though there are many people helping the drive thru, and I understand it seems busier. But only having one person on the front counter is silly. Was in line the other day with 6-7 others and nobody paid attention to the line. There used to be a time when you got a smile and have a good day from the counter, now they don't even do the basic things like folding your bag. Was waiting for my food and the expiditer came over with an order and nobody claimed it immediately, and this bozo rolled his eyes in disgust...watched "cooks" on their cell phones which are a health violation, and not even cleaning their hands or changing gloves. When's the last time you got anything hot from any McDonalds? I'm tired of barely lukewarm food even if you sit inside the place. I wonder if the big wigs eat the same mediocre food that their hard working guests spend money on. I always think this will be the time I get hot food, I must be weird because I do like my food hot, and not sitting in a warming bin. ...
