It's operated by a lovely couple: Aydee and Jose. Jose is a master ice cream maker who has learned from some of the best artisan ice cream makers in Mexico. Along with his girlfriend, Aydee, who comes from the restaurant background and worked with amazing individuals like Gordon Ramsey.

The amount of care they put into all their desserts and snacks is truly what makes this La Michoacana stand out. Their ice cream uses only the freshest ingredients and they prides themselves on using less processed goods as well as any unnecessary amounts of sugar.

My friends recommended this place for dessert after eating ramen. I am glad they did, because they’re paletas exceeded my expectations! I had the gansitos flavored paleta and immediately noticed it was made in-house. It was not too sweet. I returned the following day with my daughter and tried the galleta and cajeta (I think) paleta, it was also delicious ! They have a huge selection of freshly made paletas, which I am excited to try. This spot will definitely be out dessert spot...
