The Nines — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I had breakfast here while I was charging my EV at their infernal charging stations in the Marriott parking lot. I spent $31 for Belgian waffles with real whipped cream & very fresh strawberries, delicately scrambled eggs and good sausage (not those shriveled digits they serve elsewhere). It came with coffee and I must note, I was very impressed with their coffee. Maybe that's due to there being a Starbucks in the same lobby, I don't know because I dislike the burnt taste of Starbucks, but I take my coffee black and it was notably delicious. It's just breakfast... But I have travelled A LOT and let me tell you, you can mess up a simple breakfast 100 ways. This place gets it right even when the kitchen was about to close in 30mins.
