UPDATE: On May2, 2024, I spoke with the district manager Kelly Autry. She was very pleasant and she treated me with the respect her employees should have treated me with. She apologized and compensated me for all of the monetary loss that night. She and Alexander deserve a high rating for the way they treated me. I'm raising my review by 1 🌟. I wish I could forget the horrible facts of this visit, but I can't. I take my reviews very seriously. I hope Mz. Kelly cleans house there.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: If it were possible to give less than a one star, this particular Wendy's would be the grand prize winner of a double digit 0. My daughter and my son went to pick up dinner for four adults and two of my grandchildren last night. They brought me home a chicken sandwich, which at any other Wendy's store it would have been fine. The first bite I took of the so-called food nearly choked me to death. The chicken was as hard as a brick. I could not chew it and it caused me to throw up. I tried a drink of the tea to wash this down and it had such a putrid old taste to it, it caused me further dry heaving. I specifically ordered pickles and onions only on my sandwich. It was packed with lettuce and pickles and onion and tomatoes and was disgusting in addition to the fact that it was hard as a brick. My son's sandwich had the same slop mine did. Swimming in mayonnaise which we ordered specifically no mayonnaise. I called Alexander, the manager on duty. After we spoke, he told me if I came up the next day I would be refunded my money. So today I went back to the store. I explained to him that Alexander left them a note to refund me my money. I am severely disabled. I am in constant chronic intractable pain with multiple injuries to my joints. A boy named Barry waited on me. At first he only wanted to refund me for the rotten chicken. I told him that the food was inedible. I told him I ate the cookie and we shared the Frosty so I would be glad to pay for that. He came back and forth several times. The last time he said to me, I can't refund your money. You'll have to come back tomorrow and talk to the district manager. I explained to Barry about my physical situation and he could not care less. I told him to call Alexander, the manager I had spoken with. He said to me, and I quote, I don't got no number for him. By this time my patience had worn out. This is the nastiest store I have ever bought fast food in. I will never go to that store again as long as I live. And I will insure my children and grandchildren don't go there. I felt like I was being poisoned the day before and they couldn't have cared less. I asked for a number to their corporate office. He said, and I quote, "I don't got no number for them either." Where do you people find these employees? Peak load? In my opinion, which I doubt is worth anything to you, you should just flatten that store and be done with it. To anybody reading this review, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but there to eat. You are taking your life into your hands by allowing them to feed you or your family. And trust me when I tell you this, when you bring it to their attention, they do not care. It's bad enough people just don't value their jobs anymore but to feed a person a piece of meat so hard they can't bite into it and they tell you they nearly choke to death on it, I would be more than willing to do more than just replace or refund the money. Read moreI have to say I have never been so dissapdisapp in a Wendys.. we just came from there ordered through drive thru... And we had to wait 5 mins at the speaker before anyone even said anything.. make in our order was pretty simple the woman got everything right with out having to repeat myself 100 times so props to her (we have pickey eaters) now I was initainit thinking that it was going to be a decent stop.. well at first she was missing a drink which she quickly repalced once she read thru the order 3 additional times.. we stopeds to check and make sure the hamburgers we made correctly great no issues there... But we made the mistake on not checking for the other food... Wich I will NOT be making again. 2 4 PC nuggets were only 3 PC's and all the fries but one looked like .we had been eating on them the whole way home.. what friend we did get we're ice cold and tasted super stale.. the drinks 3 of the 5 ordered were not even full.. about halfway full.. I know we all mess up sometimes and plus I tend to just not care enough to leave a review no matter how bad the service was, but this will be my 1 exception! lol I'll keep it brief and to the point. I went to this location on 11/15/2018 about 10 to 15 minutes before closing time and the woman refused to serve me. It wasn't even solely about her refusal to serve me when they were clearly still open, but it was how rude she was about it. I pulled up and she said "We are closed". I then replied with "I thought y'all close at 12?". She then callously replied "Well we close at 11:50 tonight" and just didn't say anything else. I drove by and saw her counting the register I believe. It was a black woman kind of on the bigger side but not obese. I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was.
