OWNERS DONt HIDE AND REMOVE MY BAD REVIEW !!! Own up to yalls mistakes !!!Horrible owners ! They are so rude to the when you are not happy with an item I got nachos and the chips were stale and I mean stale ! I went back and the owner tried them himself walked away didnāt tell me anything his wife comes out and grabs a chip from their heat lamp box and says they are fine but yet the worker said I donāt know when those where put in they could of been left there for a week for all we know ! The wife refused a refund after we kept telling her no thank you as she tried to say it was cause of the cheese but yet she kept cutting me off when I was trying to tell her THE CHEESE MAKES THEM SOGGY NOT STALE ! They couldnāt take responsibility for their mistake and just try to make it right the wife has some bad attitude and needs to be worked on I lived in Balcones all my life and never experienced a business like this and it was my first time trying it ! Never again the worker was more sweet than the actual owners that should say a lot do better !!!!!!learn from your employee abou customer service. Also replying to owners reply I did not come in rude and being loud also when the owner tried the chip and wife as well yall walked around saying no itās fine no no no itās fine we said to us they tasted stale the wife said about next time putting it on the side we said no thank you she continued on saying it we continued to say no thank you we told yall , we felt like yall here saying we where lieing . While I understand that cleaning and maintenance are necessary, consistently turning off a major piece of kitchen equipment hours before the posted closing time is disappointing and feels like a disservice to customers.
It gives the impression that convenience for staff is being prioritized over the guest experience. If a restaurant advertises a full menu until closing, then the full menu should reasonably be available. Otherwise, the operating hours should be adjusted to reflect whatās actually being offered.
On top of that, during my most recent visit, I ordered an agua fresca and was equally disappointedāit tasted more like a generic sugary drink than a fresh beverage. It had that stale, overly sweet taste, almost like it had been sitting out too long with sugar settled at the bottom.
This repeated inconsistency in both food availability and beverage quality has impacted my perception of this location. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues, because customers deserve better consistency and careāespecially from a place they choose...
