I understand that everyone makes mistakes and it is okay to do so, but what I experienced at &pizza in Fed hill was a pure disappointment and big bruise on my lower back.
I ordered two pizzas and waited 10 minutes for the first one (paid for both pizzas), and I told the worker that they had made a mistake: not making my second pizza. So I waited couple more minutes and realized that they were handing out the same type of pizza that I ordered to customers that came way after me. So then after waiting for 40-50 minutes for both of my pizzas to come out, I expressed my disappointment and frustration to the worker and the manager, just wanted some sort of apology, the guard came out of nowhere and next thing I know I am thrown out of the store. And pushed back down as I was getting up by the guard (happened outside of the store). By someone who does not even know half of the story because the guard told me I have not paid for my pizzas, when I already did 40 minutes ago. It shook me hard that guard at a pizza place will assault with power trip without knowing anything about the build up.
It is the guard's job to protect their workers, not assaulting people with no intentions to hurt. Plus I know I had no intention to hurt or showed signs of aggression because I would not risk my career and future for a slice of pizza.
Store owner for this &Pizza branch needs to educate their workers, managers, and especially the guard to resolve situations like this in a professional manner. One tip: start by acknowledging mistakes and fixing them as soon as possible.
I do not recommend this place as long as they have a power tripping guard that only knows how to resolve situations with...
Read moreI entered this place on 8/28, as a Uber driver to pick up a order! And ket me tell you it was the best service, I had ever seen! I was first greeting by a young lady named, Aly! She greeted me very nicely and asked was I there to pick up an order? I said yes, let remind you all that, she was in the middle making a pizza, WITH GLOVES ON YOU GUYS! I replied, oh my your wearing gloves, I need to come back here to eat! lol I am really big on that, this is way I dont buy or enjoy pizza anywhere, because I believe they all should wear GLOVES, while making someone's pizza! So she stopped what she was doing to assist me, with my Uber order, asked did I need a bag, she was really nice and professional! These restaurants are usually not nice or polite to us, delivery drivers and I dont know why! I grabbed my order, then she did the unthinkable guys, she CHANGED HER GLOVES again to go back to making that pizza! I was very IMPRESSED, in fact, I was so IMPRESSED, I had to come to leave a review! Any other cook, I guarantee you, would have kept those gloves and went right back to making that pizza! And we know this, we dont know what people are doing, when they're alone making our food! True fact, but I do know what, Aly does! 😊 So go here best spot ever, your guaranteed to get your money's worth, thats top notch service and CLEAN PIZZA, FOOD, PERIOD! So, Aly stay cute and sweet sista! Keep it up serving your customers with that excellent, superior service that, YOU bring to this establishment!...

I really left knowing that the management was aware of the wrong things happening and they still didn’t care. I asked the hire up at &pizza What happens when the brand itself violates their own core values and there was no answer.
I wish there was a class for culture appropriation and communication class on how to speak to the employees and the Do's and Don'ts with interacting with people in a cultural setting. I was let go because of "GX experience" but I knew before the exercise started that that would be the case because I did not entertain the jokes or culture appropriation messages. I was kind and a very skilled worker but I refuse to be less than my authentic self as a person of color and genuineness
I will share my experiences until &pizza holds accountability of violating the core values, culture appropriation, and communication issues. If these things weren't an issue I would still have my placement and I will feel more comfortable as a person of color in...
