My wife and I are frequent visitors of Ropewalk and planned a wedding rehearsal dinner in June. We were very impressed with the catering menu and the level of service we received from the tavern. Linda, the owner/manager, was very accommodating to our every need. We reserved the back bar and dining area and Linda extended the happy hour specials until 9pm for our party.

We ended up having a relaxed buffet style rehearsal dinner with drinks included for a lot less than any other restaurant in town, by far. It was a great way for our families to mingle with each other and it suited our city living style perfectly. Great place for a fun outing with friends or a date. They’ve an arcade that you can play a lot games (hoops, air hockey, bowling, Coventry etc). Grab a drink, play some games, have fun.

Bar tenders were super friendly and make great drinks.

Their food however was not good. We got the onion rings, but the batter was falling off, and the onions were chewy / rubbery. Even spoke to the bar tenders who were nice and got us a new portion. Unfortunately this was no better.

I would probably go back, but only for the drinks...
