DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! long review sorry On Friday afternoon 2/9 I went in for a full dip powder set. I've been doing dip powder for about 1.5 years at a few different salons so I'm familiar with the standard. I've NEVER had such a brittle dip powder set. The girl only put 2 layers of the powder (should've spoken up then but wanted to trust the process) and the nails were very thin. By Sunday 2/11, 3 of my nails were either cracked, chipped, or lifting. Also need to note that I spent $75 on these nails before tip ($90 with tip)... I usually go simple but this time decided to treat myself with a design which I regret now. Due to my work schedule and the shops hours I wasn't able to get in till Wednesday afternoon 2/14. By this time even more nails were chipped and the ones that had broken on Sunday were in a worse state than before (forgot to take pics of how they looked by Wednesday). So I told them that I'd rather get a whole new set as they'd have to fix over half the nails anyways and I didn't trust that more nails wouldn't break later. My appointment was for 2:30 but they didn't start on me until 3:10... they had me with the same girl who originally did my nails so I was already stressed. She starts soaking off the nails and asks me if I'm willing to pay for a new set... excuse me?! I said I'm not willing to pay full price and will need a big discount at the very least. Ideally they should have comped the whole set. I didn't do any vigorous activity to break these nails, it was 100% the salons fault that I had to come back and get another set. Normally I make my dip powder sets last 3 weeks. These broke within 48 hours... the nail tech went and spoke with her boss who said the best they could do is a 50% discount. At this point I just wanted the situation to be over so I agreed. I had her cut the nails shorter, put on a thicker layer of powder, and kept my design much simpler. I will say that the second set she did was very nice (I'll attach a picture) but the time, money, and frustration I wasted for this situation was not worth it at all. My 2nd set ended up being $30 ($35 with tip cuz I just feel weird not tipping) which isn't very much but it's the principle that matters. So ya I would save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Btw the pics included are from Sunday afternoon/Monday night, should've taken pics of them right before the second appointment as they were much worse by then...

I went here on Thursday 7/20 for a Gel X full set. When it was done I noticed that half of them were crooked. I could not stay for them to be redone, so I asked for a discount. The man argued with me, stating that I should have noticed that they were crooked and said something sooner, that he wouldn’t be fair to him to give new a discount bc of the time he spent on them, and then that he didn’t think they were crooked, before finally agreeing to take $10 off of $100.
Now, it is Sun 7/30 and half of the nails have gone off. Gel X is supposed to last 3 weeks. I called this morning to see about getting the 4 at the time nails replaced and was originally told that they wouldn’t replace 4 nails, that I’d have to get a whole new set. When I asked if it would be free since this set has not lasted the 3 weeks I was told no, because it has been more than a week. And then that whether I got a new set or got the 4 replaced that I’d have to pay for if. I said but this service is supposed to last 3 weeks and came no where near that. He just repeated that I’d have to pay because it’s been more than a week.
Since the phone call another nail has lifted and come off.
Update 7/31: I came to the salon to ask for money back or for them to at least take the remaining nails off. A man at the station near the front, got up and asked what can he help me with. I told him. He said but we’re all busy right now and walked away from me and sat back down. I did not move, he went back to doing the nails of the customer in his chair without any further acknowledgment. I am now waiting until someone is not busy.
I waited patiently until I was again addressed. I was told they were booked for the day. I said so no one can remove the remaining 5 nails, or give me money back. I was then told that the owner said they were to no longer service me.
Video: Shows the nails that are left and one then that I redid myself when it was the first to come off, 7 days after getting them done. You can see that some of the remaining nails...
Read morei really liked this nail salon. it’s clean, spacious. i’ve gotten my last several manicures & pedicures done here. i’ve always been happy with the results. i like their check in & out process. they do birthday discounts. i came in today because the tip that was placed on my middle nail broke off in half last night. it left my natural nail exposed and sharp. i understand having appointments. but to be quickly rushed away with no solutions offered was very disappointing and bad customer service. i wont be returning unfortunately because good, caring customer service when problems arise is very important. even offering to fit me in at their next earliest availability would have sufficed as good customer service to me.
i ended up going to a salon around the corner who fixed the nail for me in 20 mins, even though they aren’t the ones who did my last manicure. they even made the effort to combine their colors to best match the color this salon used. they were very nice and wanted to help.
as the salon i’ve been coming to repeatedly and last salon to do my nails, a better effort should have been made to resolve my issue.
this is still a good salon, but good customer service is crucial to keeping clients. i barely ever write reviews, but this really disappointed me. my hope is that your team gets better at navigating walk-ins & returning customers who need support. after all, it was this salon’s work that i needed support with. i’m lucky the other salon was so kind & willing to fix work...
