This place is incredible. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in Baltimore and probably THE best vegan spot around. The first time I went I got a chorizo burrito mission style with a side of yucca fries and everything was so delicious. The yucca fries didn’t even make it home they were so good I ate them all in the car. The burrito was very flavorful, perfectly rolled, and all the textures complimented one another just right. Everything seemed very fresh. The yucca fries were nice and crispy while still having some soft interior and had just the right amount of salt. I went back shortly after going for the first time and tried the taco sampler which was also really good. The different types of veggie meats were all distinct in taste and texture and were seasoned so perfectly. Both times I’ve been here, the service has been very friendly, the food has been hot, ready to go, and delicious. I will absolutely be coming back here and recommend everyone else, vegan or not, check it out as well. 5 stars for sure.

I've loved this place since they were a cart at the punk rock flea markets at The Ottobar and then on Howard St. The new location is a bit sketchy. If you know Waverly and Greenmount, then you know. They are doing great and trying to turn it around, so give them props. Remember while eating this amazing food that it's all vegan and that husband and wife who own it also do a dog rescue and shelter. As for the food, vegan street tacos, Mexican pizza, hot dogs, burritos, empanadas, sliders, nachos, ceviche and more! Plus flan and church's for dessert! Don't take my word for it, go, now!

I went overboard since I don’t live very close to it and don’t know when I’ll get to go back, and everything my partner and I got was delicious. Favorites: the al pastor and bistec tacos, elote, yucca fries, chicken burrito. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the very small eating area that’s 3 stools at a window sill bar. I’m hoping they’ll get enough business to eventually get a bigger space. Oh, and as someone who was in Mexico City last year and had this kind of street food there, I can say it’s very authentic and equally awesome.

UPDATE, THURSDAY JUNE 27TH, 2024:

I had my second visit to Chihuahua Brothers today around 4PM. Had a chat with the owner who kept his word, and my meal was on the house. I chose the chorizo quesadilla. It was 100% on point and didn't disappoint. We chatted about yucca fries. I received a few to try as I was unfamiliar with them. I also got churros today because they were how they are supposed to be. Everything was delicious. I am upgrading my review based on today's visit, how the food was, and our conversation about our dogs. I will definitely visit again.

I visited this spot for the first time yesterday around 6PM. My order was for 3 tacos, rice and beans and churros. Order was 27.55. The tacos were very good and I would try those again. The rice and beans were OK. Churros? Nope. Don't know if it was because it was late but they were inedible because they were hard, difficult to bite and the texture was more like a stick than what I'm used to getting other places. The portions are small for the price. Because it's a neighborhood establishment, I will go one more time, and choose...

The people are nice, food was good but did have my own criticisms. I had ordered a “torta de milanesa” and was expecting a telera or bolillo as the bread since those are the common breads for making tortas. However, I was greeted with a regular burger bun and was slightly disappointed. I would have liked more beans in it but that’s just my personal preference (love beans). We also had chicken tacos which were pretty good with the handmade tortillas. Lastly we had churros but the chocolate dipping sauce was a touch too bitter. Not sure if it was burnt while melting the chocolate or not enough sugar was used in it. I will come back to taste a bit more of the menu as this was the first time I had been. It was more like a 3.7/5 for me, but everyone’s experience may vary. I highly encourage people to try this place as vegan mexican food is very...
