This place is trash. Those tortillas chips and taco bowls that we love are left out all night and day. The workers are very unsanitary and not very hospitable to black people. There’s a lot of eye-rolling, sighing and side-eyes when I walk in and ask questions about the food. I am a very polite person. They treat me as if I’m asking for too much to want to be informed about what I eat. I live a block away and walk past the restaurant window often and every time I see something cringe worthy. The food is always substandard. I could have sworn that the food made me sick. The restaurant is not clean. The tables are sticky and the floor is greasy. It’s a hot ass mess. I would have left a review sooner but I wanted to give it chance. The staff is very cavalier about cleaning as you can tell by the photos of their windows. If this is how they present themselves to the public just imagine what corners are being cut behind the counter and in the kitchen. At night while the place is closed I often look in and marvel at how nasty the kitchen is left as reminder never to eat there again. I had to ask my friends to look to make sure I am not hallucinating. We have seen mice running around and those taco bowls stacked up high uncovered and tortilla chips just sitting out uncovered all night. Update 12/28/24 3am I thought they had cleaned up their act but I was wrong. On my way home from the club I just happened to see this burrito just chillin rotting in the windowsill.

This little spot has taken 1st place for Mexican food at lunchtime! I have found a better replacement for Chipotle and its closer to work! I love the fried taco shell my salad comes in...the food is fresh and tasty. Those burritos I saw being prepared were huge. You can eat inside, its very small so I carry out. I would have given 4 stars for service but I asked for jalapeno on my salad and dude got excited, eyes lit up and he asked to confirm jalapeno...when I said yes he grabbed a handful and slapped them on my salad before i could say just a little bit...lol! Shame I had too many had to throw some away. They were plump and 🔥🥵, I'll know the next time. Also, I'd recommend a dressing for the salad, I only saw sour cream. Overall, a good spot for Mexican food!

Food is inedible. Lately every time I get rice there are many overcooked old hardened pieces of rice in my burrito that I can't even swallow the food without breaking my teeth. The big dude that works here shovels in old rice and saves the fresh rice. He has two batches of tomato rice that look very different on the line. It's seriously a shame because the food used to be amazing. Also, the produce like cilantro, onions, and bell peppers taste filthy like they don't wash it. Please fix this location. I've been eating here for over 3 years and I will be going somewhere else til then.

My husband and I are usually disappointed when we go out to eat. Usually service isn't all that great and food is 90% of the time, disappointing. HOWEVER, this place is just the bomb!! Heather is the ABSOLUTE BEST server I think I have ever had in my life!! She makes you want to be friends oitside of your dining experience. She has read our minds since day one. The first time we were there, I was feeling brave to try something new, which, I rarely ever do. And her recommendation did not disappoint. The margaritas are bomb (and hubby doesn't like them but throw some strawberry flavoring in and he's addicted). The Carne asada tacos with grilled pineapple and the quesabirillas are just super AMAZE-BALLS!! They have margaritas to-go (that's right, Heather's great at upsetting lol) and you're lucky if you have leftovers to take home. We didn't the first time there but tonight, we did, only because the margaritas were creeping up faster than the food hit 😉 Between the food and service, we want to make this a weekly date night. And we we're lucky to have a bimonthly date night as of just a couple weeks ago so to do this weekly, is a bonus for relationships. We have fun, Heahter makes you feel special and it just makes you want to keep coming back. So if you want great food and service, THIS is the place to go. Love ya Heather ❤️❤️and our best to the chefs and bartender!! We appreciate spending our hard earned money on agreat evening...totally worth...

I am disgusted. I’ve frequented this establishment for some time, as I like to support local business in the city. After placing an order through Uber eats, my partner and I received the wrong food. A simple mistake, sure enough. I immediately reached out to the restaurant to share that I received the wrong order, and even offered to come pick up the correct one (I live about 5-7 drive away). Not only did I have to argue on the phone with an employee, but he offered to “have the manager call me tomorrow” because they were closed. The food was ordered at 7:15. The food was delivered by 7:55. The realization at 8:00, the call at 8:01. And yet, because they had “closed at 8”, there was nothing that could be done. After the employee hung up on me as I was driving, I arrived to find a completely empty restaurant, windows dark, lights off.

I will never eat here again, and it wasn’t even because of the mistake in the order. I get it, life happens! But the way I was treated and spoken to was nothing short of rude, disrespectful, and unnecessary. The “manager” should feel shame at allowing its employees to operate...
