I’m sorry to say nothing about my meal was good. I ordered jumbo lump crab cake platter with Macaroni and fries. The crab cake was soggy and did not have any flavor. It also had some type of filler or breading in it which was wet it made me feel a little sick as I ate it. The menu offers the side choice of macaroni but what I got was a cold and flavorless macaroni salad with a mayonnaise base. I was thinking that I was gonna be getting macaroni and cheese but it was not that. The fries were probably the easiest thing to eat but they too did not have any flavor or seasoning just steamed and soggy. I hate having to write this review because the people who work there was so pleasant and all I wanted was really some good crabcakes and I got the complete opposite. My thoughts... easy to order online easy to find (big brightly lit sign) food was ready when I arrived but poor customer service. no greeting upon walking into the establishment. french-fries- soggy, tasteless fried oysters- breading to oyster ratio was ok, but very dry cream of crab soup was a gelatinous mess! the crab in the soup taste like canned crab. very disappointed! rainbow pasta: they put it on top of the soup, and it was warm by the time I picked up my order. Chris's was great they are open until 10pm. The crabs were a great size and very meaty! One thing though and it's not necessarily a bad thing either......if you're a true crab eater you know exactly what I mean. These crabs were good the first day but they were AMAZING the next day! So if you are ever having family over for crabs get them from here the day before and then heat them up(steam on the stove) for when the family comes next day they were so so good! Chris's uses great seasoning that gave the crabs great flavor that really comes through on day 2 😋. The woman who runs the front is also just a gem!...
