Mann, so letâs starts off by saying BUSSIN! This is the most honest review youâll ever read. I came across this lovely place from Google. I needed cupcakes for my daughtersâ bday party last min & baby the reviews donât lie. Iâm BIG on them & honey the 4.5âs & above you canât be disappointed. Placing the order over the phne was a breeze. The lady was very pleasant & had a welcoming voice good customer service honey was a yes. The cupcakes we went for were birthday cake, salted caramel, strawberry, & French toast. They didnât disappoint @ all. Birthday cake was so/so that was for the birthday girl, salted caramel was the bomb 10/10. It didnât give salted caramel vibes, but it gave southern corn bread vibes. Who doesnât love some good corn bread though am I right. Moist to the T & the icing w/ each bite perfect. You better have a sweet tooth w/ the icing or just slide a little off still the bomb 10/10. Strawberry cupcake moist, perfect flavor, I would love to try it w/ like a strawberry filling or filled w/ strawberries either way still a winner, now that French toast cupcake wasnât really giving French toast vibes, BUT who doesnât love a nice ginger bread cookie/ ginger snap/ coffee cake? The French toast cupcake was giving me a little of everything & Iâm all here for it. Why Iâm eating one now while writing this review, so that should tell you. Pick up smooth & easy. I also tried the banana pudding. Not your traditional pudding w/ cookies, bananas cut up, and your whip cream on top. This was better! You have your swirl on top w/ banana bread mixed w/ pudding. It was giving I needed to go back & buy another, but it was also giving something was missing but couldnât put my finger on it. The icing type swirl on top was really good & the banana bread was moist just like those bussin cupcakes, however I couldnât put my finger on it w/ the pudding. I was looking for a spark in flavor & I wanted to know how everything tasted separately, but the pudding was missing some flavor like a sweet creamy like throwing a small spin of condensed milk in it wouldâve gave it that âmhm knee slapperâ Overall my experience w/ this company met every expectation I had hopes to meet. I will definitely be back & I hope to try some new things w/ a little spin on them in the future. I wouldâve uploaded more than 2 picture, but everything didnât make it (we have Salted caramel in one pic & in the larger container French toast). Quality cost & for what you enjoy youâre willing to pay the price for. I wouldnât have a fret about pricing when you know youâre getting your...
Read moreThis review has nothing to do with the cupcakes, they are absolutely delicious, this review is for the fact I ordered a birthday cake from here on August 11, I called and was told to email (which I did with ALL of the specifications, as requested)...My birthday is August 23, so the 22 was a Monday, they were closed, so I called on my actual birthday, and they were not available, I called on Wednesday because hey, you completely flaked on a cake I ordered, the gentleman answered the phone, and was rather baffled as to why I had not received my cake and he apologized...if it had been any other day, fine...it was my birthday...for this reason, and this reason alone, I will never drive the 2+ hours to their shop ever again, nor will I recommend you all to anyone else either, it hurts to do it, but you have to be held accountable some kind of way, I mean I wasn't even offered a percentage off, hey, let me make you a cake and it is on the house, or a free cupcake...I mean dang, as a small business owner, I know the damage of one upset customer...I am guessing you all don't...(I use to tell everyone about you guys and sing...
Read moreWe came up to Baltimore for my birthday. After visiting the Baltimore Museum of Art. We were searching for restaurants and bakery. I had a taste for red velvet.Asked some people at the museum and was told to drive down Charles Street. There are different types of restaurants, etc.. Starting driving down Charles Street and noticed sign M C Bakery. I entered Bakery and asked for two red velvet. Was told by a gentleman, no red velvet. They have black velvet. I said okay. I never tried black velvet. But I am happy I did. When I come back to Baltimore, this will be one of my first spots to visit again. So, if you are visiting or live in the state of Maryland and have never been to Midnite Confections. The wait is over. You will not regret it!
By the way, I wanted dinner prior to eating the cupcakes. So I asked him for some soul food recommendations. He referred me to a great restaurant. Didn't eat the cupcakes on Saturday. I end up flying back to Florida with cupcakes in my purse. A few days after visiting the bakery, cupcakes were still moisture, fluffy,...
