Mizu Sushi — Restaurant in Baltimore

Overall disappointing experience, and we wouldn’t come back. Here is why:

Google maps show that dine-in is available, but it’s take out only. Not sure about delivery.

Not honest about menu prices. At least it’s slightly deceiving to us as a first time customer. The paper menus list incorrect prices. The sushi sashimi combo I ordered is $20 dollars on the paper menu, whereas the online menu(the supposedly updated one) lists it as $30. I was not aware of the price difference until the employee swiped our card. The receipt shows that “all transactions are final.” It’s very unclear for someone who has never been to the restaurant before. The udon my husband ordered also differs in price, by $2.

The service was fast, though I’m not sure why the receipt didn’t specify what I ordered and what their prices are. Food...

We ordered sashimi on Ubereats. They took a long time looking for the Uber Driver to pick it up because of technical issues — understandable. But when we called and the moment they found out that we speak Mandarin (they also speak Mandarin so I think the place is run by Chinese), they became very impatient and cut off the phone immediately. Like COME ON, WHERE IS THE BROTHER AND SISTER PRIDE LOL.

And because it was sashimi, we are very concerned with the food safety. However, the person answering our phone lied that our food was only left outside for 5 minute. LIKE HELLO? I THINK WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ONE AND A HALF HOUR SO...It is possible but the moment I called is the moment you have my food ready?...

Was skeptical about this place first, but what a surprise find, the best sushi rice ever and you know whether or not the chef is good reflects on how well they make the sushi rice, not soggy nor hard just right that melted in your mouth, it’s a busy little bistro, the chef have been none stop since we sit down, you know the fish they serve are fresh, love it, the interior feels like I am in Tokyo really has that authentic family own Japanese sushi restaurant vibe, compare with other fancy sushi restaurant that feels cold, this place just feels worm and cozy, just right, don’t know why other people give a bad review complaining of small portions, I have never seen a big portion of sushi served, always typical sizes, these people probably first...
