An absolute hidden gem in Baltimore! If you found this place from social media trust me you can believe in the hype. Just their menu selection alone had me thinking about this place all week long and I'm happy to say my high expectations were actually exceeded!
The woman who took our order was very pleasant and helpful when we had a few questions. She had a bright attitude and was happy to tell us all about their menu and specials. The menu was perfect in my opinion, with a great selection while not "over-doing" it by throwing too many random items onto it. Pricing was definitely fair and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was absolutely on point. The music selection combined with the store setup had us vibing the entire meal. I don't normally pay too much attention to the music and atmosphere but this place's atmosphere matched the meal so well that me and my coworker are still talking about it days later.
Now to the important part, the food. I had the Crown Heights roll with BK wings and their lemon pepper wings. Everything was absolutely amazing. I was not expecting the wings to be as good as they were but they are honestly top 10 in the city in my opinion. I don't usually write reviews unless an establishment is absolutely amazing (or terrible) and this place was so good I felt an obligation to come here and share my experience. Try them out, I will be a...
Read moreFirst impression is a.... well you know the rest. A co-worker saw an ad about this place from some social media site, so e decided to check it out. We arrived soon after opening during the weekday. Seemed like we were the first two customers. It looked like only two people were running the store, the cook and cashier. The place was very clean, the cashier was friendly and ready to assist us with choices from the screen on the counter. We went with the $20 butter topped roll with a bag of chips (no fries). Three other customers came in after us. It took 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. We are home grown foodies. My co-worker has had 🦞 rolls from Maine. My first take and at 🦞 roll was at National Harbor. To be nice, I guess it's comparable to a Marylander going to Cleveland OH expecting to get a real MD 🦀 cake, just ain't going to match it. The roll was nice and soft, unfortunately the lobster ratio didn't balance well. I was expecting a buttery explosion.... not so much😬😐. We didn't eat there so we took our food back to work, so it wasn't piping hot, and I didn't want to re-heat it. If you are really hungry for lunch, you'd probably still be hungry after eating that. Maybe they'll improve over time, but for now this is why I'm giving ⭐⭐⭐
