Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Baltimore

Despite ordering and paying for two extra-large, two-topping pizzas, we received one plain cheese pizza and one single-topping pizza. It was immediately apparent that the cheese pizza was from a previous order, based on the way it was cut and how the cheese looked – it was not freshly made. The second pizza, which was supposed to have two toppings, looked like an old cheese pizza with sausage added on top, as if they just threw on the sausage, reheated it, and called it done.

When I called to address the issue and asked to speak with a manager, I was informed that they had tried to call me before preparing the order to let me know they were out of pepperoni. While I did have a missed call, it didn’t indicate it was from Papa John’s, nor was there a voicemail. Regardless, they still chose to charge me and send pizzas that did not match my order.

When I pointed out that both pizzas appeared old, the person on the phone said they would come and collect the pizzas if I didn’t want them. I agreed, but after waiting 20 minutes and calling back to check the status, I was told by a different employee that they wouldn’t be coming to get the pizzas and that since they made them with the ingredients they had, no refund would be issued.

During this second conversation, I explained the situation again, only to be accused of being disrespectful. I clarified that the real issue was their manager’s decision to charge me for something they clearly couldn’t deliver. I would not even give this place 1 star but its the lowest rating I can give. I placed an order online at 5:30pm, I ordered a large cheese pizza and a chocolate chip cookie. I tracked the pizza on the papa tracker, pizza came an hour and a half later. The driver sat in the car for like 5 minutes refusing to get out then finally came. The pizza was cold and my cookies were burned. I called the place back, the supervisor who was very rude and unprofessional by the way said another pizza would be on the way in 45 to 55 minutes. I waited an hour, no pizza, I called 11xs and got no answer. I called for the 12th time and got a young girl on the phone who hung up on me so I called back for yet another girl to tell me my order was on the way. I waited another 20 minutes. No pizza. Call back yet again, this time we asked for the supervisor and the girl claims he left for the night. Really? At 8:30? Finally I demanded a refund so at the end of the night I was stuck with a cold pizza and a burnt cookie. Then another hour later a delivery man came with a new order. From 5:30pm-9:00pm waiting for a hot meal that was only 1.3 miles from my house was not unprofessional but also...

Wow...I didn't know that papa johns service also included not get product and not getting money back. I placed my order on line like always at 8:45. Food did not arrive until 10:36, which was completely the wrong order. I call the delivery person back and she came back for the food. She looked as if she was high. I call the store to inform them about my food and was told that I will receive my order within 30mins. After waiting for another hour, I called back to find out where my food was and was told I will be waiting for another hour. REALLY that's 4 hour of waiting for Papa Johns pizza. I told the lady on the phone that is was taking to long and I would like a refund. I was then told that I will not be refunded and that if I came to the store to ask for my money the police will be called and I will go to jail. REALLY...DID PAPA JOHNS JUST ROBBED ME...Wow. Don't order from them....they steal your money.....worst service every. I hope the nfl reads these comments and make better judgment of who that...
