This place was amazing and everything we were looking for. I felt it when I walked in the door, "authenticity" from the welcoming hosts, the smiling guests, the decor, the music...and then the food blew me away. My husband is from LA and wanted me to get a feel of what to expect when we move there next month and OMG....I wanted to grab a waitress and dance!!! We ordered the chicken enchiladas and a beef burrito and they were both like fireworks to my taste buds. My favorite...the burrito hands down!! Im so excited to try something else from the menu tonight!!! Lol needless to say I highly recommend...

I ordered a meat soup and received a soup with another type of meat, I told the waitress and she said I had ordered the right thing. Then the manager came over and told me the same thing that it was beef. I showed her the bones that were in the soup and they were lamb and she responded, that's what we use all the time and no one has ever complained, I refuse to eat it, I responded well, I don't eat that type of meat, so she told me. He took it away with the other food that was already on the table and went to the kitchen, then the waiter brought me the check with everything I had ordered and had not eaten. I asked her why they were charging me for it and she responded sir you have to pay or I will call the police. You ordered it and even though you didn't eat it you still have to pay, you don't like it, that's not our problem, I will never go to that place again, Pedí una sopa de carne y recibí una sopa con otro tipo de carne, le dije a la mesera y ella dijo que había pedido lo correcto. Entonces el gerente se acercó y me dijo lo mismo que era carne de res. Le mostré los huesos que había en la sopa y eran de cordero y ella respondió, eso es lo que usamos todo el tiempo y nunca nadie se ha quejado , me niego a comerlo le respondi pues yo no Como ese tipo de carne ,entonces ella me lo quitó con la otra comida que estaba ya en la mesa y c fue a la cocina , luego el camarero me trajo el cheque con todo lo que avia pedido y no avia comido. Le pregunté por qué me estaban cobrando por ello y ella respondió señor, tiene que pagar o llamaré a la policía. Lo pediste y aunque no lo comiste todavía tienes que pagar no t gusto ese no es nuestro problema , nunca volvere a ir...

I agree with the previous post. The broth of the fish soup I got was delicious but the actual fish was horrid. They immediately assume you want bottled water and charged us at the end for it without saying a word.

Worst of all they charged group gratuity of 18% for a party of 4, WHO DOES THAT?? Checking out took 20 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant, the staff put us completely away from other guests, and after asking to itemize our list of food so we could split it up, she just pretended to not understand and did it 50/50.
