The service was awful. The microwaved food was worse. It all started when the waiter asked if I wanted chicken or beef in my enchiladas. I'm no stranger to Mexican restaurants, I felt pretty safe ordering the beef enchiladas. 45 minutes later I get my food and bite into a ground beef filled, microwaved tortilla. Firstly, I have never had a ground beef enchilada, secondly the ground beef was that of Taco Bell quality. This beef was dry and heavily seasoned yet flavorless. I figured this was my error in not specifically asking for shredded beef or something else and just accepted my failed judgement.
As this was frustrating, I did not feel this warranted going out of my way to have them take the food back and waste it. Not like I haven't choked down some late night Taco Bell before.
The reason I am here writing this today is because the service was terrible, and I would hope to maybe help at least one person get better service by specifying what they want.
On the menu it says in big red letters on every page "Add sour cream and guacamole for $1" so I asked for a side of guacamole and sour cream. Without any clarification they agree and brought us the sides... Halfway through our meal.. When I got the bill, I noticed they charged me $4 a piece for each.
Heres the kicker, when I asked the manager why I was being charged so much more then what was on the menu, he was immediately irate and offensive as if I was supposed to know the difference between adding sour cream and guac, or getting a side of sour cream and guac.
At about this time I had also noticed they had charged me twice for my meal and DENIED IT! I had to do the math for the guy with the manager next to him 3 times before they agreed that they did indeed over charge me.
I have been to this place about 20 times since I was 16, and only once in the last 10 years.
I will not be going again and would advise anyone who does to double check your bill...
Read moreHorrible service. Took in my service dog. Was (rudely) asked the proper questions. Was seated abruptly away from everyone. When my service dog tasked she was rewarded, (UNDER THE TABLE) where I was verbally "attacked" by the worker for "feeding" her. I kindly explained I wasnt feeding her and he was mistaken. Where he said "if you cant follow the law leave" which I again tried to explain she wasted eating at the table (which doesnt have to be allowed by ada) when I was again interrupted. We opted to get our food to go as my other friend also has a service dog and at this point we were completely uncomfortabl. As we left I explained the the other gentleman that he should make sure staff has a proper understanding of the law. Where he rudely started waiving a paper (non ada I might add) saying I was wrong. We got our food and left. When we sat else where to eat we had no silverware, our food was horribly prepared, and frankly awful, which made the whole event even more unbearable. The staff needs to get a real understanding of what the law states not his (their) interpretation. I pride myself on never intentionally breaking the law and making sure i have the correct understanding before doing anything to ensure I dont do it wrong. So thanks to this horrible restaurant for messing with 2 people and their service dogs because they dont have the correct understanding. (Adding, I'm allergic to onions and asked for no onions, then had an allergic episode due to onions...
Read moreService was horrible! We were waited on by the owner and he was hostile and rude. I'm disabled, in a wheelchair and I have a medical service dog. When the owner came to take our order after 30 minutes of waiting, he asked if my dog would be eating too? My reply was "no, a service dog shouldn't eat at a restaurant ". The whole time while we waited for our food we could hear him in the kitchen complaining about my service dog. Everytime he walked past our table he was huffing & puffing. After paying, he immediately grabed the signed check and started verbally attacking us because we left no tip due to his poor attitude and service. This entire exchange I never raised my voice. As we were leaving he started yelling several times that I was being aggressive. During the entire meal my service dog remained under the table, quite and...
