McDonald's — Restaurant in Bangor

Aight. I might be biased because I know the guy and he might be putting on a good show to impress me, but the reviews here aren’t giving Colby enough credit here. He is close with his coworkers, and wouldn’t dream of intentionally hurting someone. He cares at least the bare minimum of what he does just like everyone else there getting paid minimum wage. He just wants to do his job, not make his life harder for himself and others by causing trouble, same with any other person who works in customer service like this; extremely underpaid, overworked, and understaffed — that’s only naming a few. This is a stressful job. Do you need college, or even a high school diploma to work here? Absolutely not. Even so, Colby and his employees have to endure a lot, not just the angry customer or quick cry in the bathroom. The area this place is located is known for being sketchy. REALLY sketchy. This isn’t the only establishment in the area who has to lock the bathroom doors because so many people shoot up and/or overdose in the restrooms. He’s worked there for years. He’s seen a lot of the crap that people who look down on these jobs will never endure. Treat the staff nicely, they’re really just trying to make it thru their shift. My only complaint is that the tables and doors feel like a plague has been wafted over them, but that’s what happens when the place is overstuffed that the manager can’t even catch a 15 minute break during a 8 hour shift. If Colby gets in trouble for this, send corporate to my doorstep and they can sue me and come after what little assets a college student has in this economy. I’m so tired. Also this is a goddamn McDonald’s. Robots and machines cook your food. They’re so busy that they don’t have time to intentionally tamper your food. Unless they do. Which would be pretty messed up Tldr: Colby is fire, y’all are just leaving bad reviews because you had a bad experience. People don’t leave as many good reviews when service is good compared to “bad”/bad service. But fr tho, if those other reviews are real then...

I dont even want to leave any stars...I was very unhappy with this location...I ordered a big order...I have a lot of family members to fed... my order was $45.75...1st thing I had noticed was my Granddaughters happy meal didn't come with the apple juice...then I looked into my bags and I was minus a sandwich...while opening all my boxes of sandwiches I noticed that my sons sandwich was made the way I had asked...then they wouldn't confiscate the sandwich because it wasnt on the recipe...I'm sorry...but I asked for something and I wasn't giving what I asked for because the drive thru lady didnt key it in...well she was very quick and I felt rushed...then I get home and my grilled artisan chicken sandwich didn't even have tomatoes...it only had lettuce cheese..but no tomato...I like tomatoes and it was suppose to be made with tomatoes and well my son likes his 2pieces of bacon on his sandwich...because everything cost money..okay then I want my tomatoe that I paid for...I spent close to 45dollars at this location and the service wasn't pleasant the food tasteless...i dont recommend this...

This place is disgusting and dirty. Debris and fries all over the floors and spills everywhere. The tables were dirty and I ordered my food to eat there. They didn't tell me anything until my food was done and they gave me a bag and said "oh sorry we're out of trays". The bathroom itself was basically a big urinal with piss everywhere. There were homeless people just hanging out in the restaurant and smelled horrible. I felt like I spent almost $9 on a meal to eat in a soup kitchen. The trash cans were over flowing with trash so I had to just set my bag and cup on top were the trays normally go. Then when you get into your vehicle, the drive thru line was so long I didn't get to leave for 10 minutes. You can't back out when the drive thru line runs long. I absolutely hate this place.
