I have a very unique take on this, I was a multi-unit manager for Taco Bell, so I know how much meat should be on a taco, lettuce, cheese on a gordita crunch etc. Temperature of the food you are supposed to be at when you receive your food, down to even the brix ratio on their beverage dispenser. So when I leave this review it is from an extremely experienced person in this industry specifically. I have been here now twice to see this is not just a fluke. In an age where you are to the point of rage at idiots who cannot make a burger, take an order correctly, give you a sauce or knowing that no matter how many times you tell them your order these good for nothing people will get it wrong every time. I don't want to hear about how bad you whiney employees have it. Because this Taco Bell has got it done on point, order was correct both times, food was hot as it should be, food was fresh, staff was friendly. I have to give props because it starts with the GM leadership and training, employees that actually take pride in what they do. I just hope to God they can continue to deliver the level of excellence that they do now, I have to give you kudos, you are doing a great job in what I agree is a hard industry, back to those of you that are going to give every excuse in the book of why they have it easy with a new building, Xtra staff, whatever pitiful excuse you want to give for why you can't get a review like this, I ran a Taco Bell in Ohio, building was 20 yrs old, steam tables constantly stopped working, only had 6 people on shift for night crew when we were open until 3am, yes we actually worked! Under those conditions our drive through was wrapped around our building and 5 cars into the street from 9pm to 3am EVERY NIGHT and our window time was only 37 seconds, our food was on point, fresh, hot and RARELY did we get an order wrong. We were so busy the cops came through almost every night to clear out our parking lot and drive thru because it blocked traffic, so cry to me how it can't be done just like I did back into the day and how this Taco Bell is getting it done now. SO GREAT JOB EVERYONE at that unit. Know you are doing it better than 99% of any of your fast food competition. And when someone crys about how it can't be done remember this review and how we used to do...
Read moreA fellow employee was going to Taco Bell on Hogan rd. I recently in store purchased a doritos taco from another location at the price of $2.59, which I thought was a fair price for said item. So after looking at the website (not app), I verified that the same item was the same price at the Hogan rd. location. I gave the employee enough money to purchase that 1 taco as per the website and the other location. When she returned with the item, they had charged her $3.39, which had I known that their website wasn't accurate, I would not have purchased. The taco is ok, but not worth an additional $0.86 to me. I attempted to get the difference back when a few hours later I went to the store and spoke with the manager. She says the app price and in store price are different. I told her I did not look at an app price, that price came off the website. Apparently they do not honor their own website pricing and for lack of a better term that I was out of luck and would not be refunded the $0.86. I typically go there once a week being that I am right next door, however due to there penny pinching manager not refunding the money, I have decided that Taco Bell will no longer have my business and if any other employees want to go there, I will gladly take there order for any other fast food locations...
Read moreSince I served myself, it was my first time in the new location on hogan rd., I wasn't familiar with systems design. So it took some time to figure out how to swap the meat for a steak chalupa because I didn't see that option available for it. It took me longer than I had time for, looking for the food I usually get and I wasn't able to look any longer and ordered a 5 dollar box. Not what I wanted but was filling and tasty. There was no mild sauce packets available in the soda, condiments and napkins straws area. The employees were very courteous, polite, friendly and in a positive manner when helping me figure out I didn't order a drink with the 7 or 9 box deal I had thought I ordered, so it canceled the rest of the box. Lesson learned haha. The staff that handed me my to go order, she also gave me a free large soda for how long I had to wait for my food to be "served" per say. All of the employees I had interactions with were amazing 👏 I am looking forward to my next trip to Bangor in a couple weeks to get some taco supremes and burrito supremes with cinnamon twists. If only there was some KFC coleslaw and Mac and cheese to enjoy, rounding out the meal. It was very clean and is aesthetically pleasing with a very clean spacious...
