10/17/2025 My recent visit, I was here 3yrs ago also and was so impressed with the friendly helpful service and advice on how to care for a live 🦞. I returned the prices are fair and the lady remembered me from 3 yrs ago. She answers any questions you have and packs your lobsters for travel and any other seafood you buy. It's hard to find good customer service in today's world. Parson's market is more than worth going to. Forget the others and come here you won't regret it. We bought mussels also here the lobster and mussels was absolutely fresh and so delicious. Every time we come to Maine we will be getting our seafood here! BY FAR, the best place in Bar Harbor! We were staying just down the road from Parson's and wanted to cook our own lobster one night for a nice experience. We went to buy some lobster from them (by far the best prices in Bar Harbor), We got 10 lobster, the guy asked us if we had a pot big enough and we said we didn't. Without blinking an eye he said I have one you can use and before we knew it he was pulling out a pan from behind the counter and giving it to us, (3 guys from Indiana he never seen before). Parsons Lobsters is the absolute real deal - freshest lobsters, great prices, exceptional service, a small family operation. We are repeat (vacation) customers and love coming here. We asked for large females and she picked beauties, super feisty hard-shelled sweet lobsters. The owner even asked if we had a lobster pot at our rental - which on consideration, we had not yet found the lid for the lobster pot!
