WildFlour Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Baranof Island

My FAVORITE! The WildFlour Cafe & Bakery is such a fav of my friends & familys that each and every birthday for me, my mom, my best friend, my aunt, and my grandma has involved a Mermaid Bowl and a couple macarons from there. Aside from birthdays, I've been coming here several times a year for five years (back when it was Fish Eye and now as Wildflour Cafe), and the place is packed 👏every.👏single.👏time --which tells you I'm not the only one that thinks this is the greatest 🙌 place ever, but it brings me to the one and only flaw for the entire cafe. It gets confusing knowing where the order line and the pick-up line are when you see and walk into the crowd... but that is truly my only mild complaint.

I've tried every smoothie, and though I love them all, I've been partial to getting a Mermaid Bowl with extra granola, 4 macarons, and a Raw Cacao smoothie. And yeah, I'll say how much a Sudden Sunshine, or Greeña Colada smoothie sounds good, but I always, and without fail, get the Raw Cacao smoothie. Lately, I've been switching it up by ordering off of the lunch menu. Or, depending on what time my BF & I arrive after our Sunday Hike with the dogs, we especially love/recommend ordering anything and everything they have on their breakfast menu. (served til 11 AM) I can't speak for the coffee drinks because I've never ordered them, but I can NOT give enough praise for the smoothies, smoothie bowls, cookies, pastries, FRENCH TOAST, and their sandwiches & burritos. P.S. try the hot sauce next to the silverware at the Pick-Up counter! I appropriately dressed my Gobble Gouda with the Serrano Bull Whip Hot Sauce by Barnacle Foods for the first time yesterday and can not believe it took me this long to try it! Holy moly, that...

This is my #1 place to eat when dining out for breakfast or lunch in Sitka.

What a breath of fresh smelling bread, Pastries and Coffee in the air as you enter this place.

Limited seating, so be prepared to either wait for a table (was totally worth it), or order to go.

This is clearly the best breakfast and lunch spot that Sitka has to offer. I know, because I've eaten at EVERY food establishment in Sitka.

The prices are Extremely good for Sitka.

I ordered the Bánh-Mì sandwich for today's lunch. This thing was packed with fresh veggies, very flavorful and moist thick cut Pork, all put on one of the best fresh baked breads I've ever tasted. All baked in-house.

Their Matcha tea is the real deal from Japan. Very good.

The staff at this establishment was very professional, and the energy from them was extremely upbeat and positive.

Last but not least, I could not help but notice how clean their restroom was. Nicely remodeled. Definitely the cleanest restroom of ANY other eating establishment in Sitka (Again, I've eaten at EVERY food establishment in Sitka). It's a pleasure knowing that the owners of this establishment have created a very cool, chill vibe atmosphere for dining in.

Amazing little place. Stopped by on my walk around town before I flew back to San Diego for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. I got the avocado 🥑 toast and it had a mountain of avocado on it! So tasteful and filling. The bread is delectable! The people are sweet and the offerings are all scrumptious.

I left with a cookie and scone. Wish I’d have ordered more to go! If I was in Sitka this would be a morning routine for me. The cookie was awesome 9.1 on the Portnoy scale and the scone was about as good as I’ve had at about an 8.7
