Had the worst experience last night. This location really deserves a 0 star. Went in they maybe had 6 tables going. Our waitress came after a few minutes to get out drink order which consisted of 2 waters and an ice tea. We had to repeat it twice. We ordered the onion tower and my husband ordered a burger right off the bat. Me and my three daughters said that we needed a minute to order. She then had a problem with the table across from us bill. Which these two customers were very calm and pleasant with the problem. She could not figure it out so she said a manager would come by. Then she runs back and forth never checking on her tables. Disappears for a very long time and comes back out assist three tables never coming back to ours. The burger my husband even order never comes . After an hour of being there me and my daughters have not ordered. Then i go to the hostess and ask for the manager explaining that we have been there an hour and have not ordered. The manager just sends my waitress over. OK! She comes back apologizes and says she was helping these old ladies who were complaining about the bill. I was so offended by what she was saying because the two lady’s were not angry or causing problems. It was an error and they to me were very patient with her and the manager. We tell her that my husband’s burger never came and she looked confused. Looks at her little device and says someone else took the order and she is not sure what happened. She took our initial order! She says she will look into it but will take our order. My daughter orders a veggie burger with cheddar cheese lettuce and bbq sauce. She had to repeat it 5 times!!!!!! After the last time she goes let me start over. I had all I could take and asked for the manager. Told him that we been there an hour and she can’t take a simple veggie patty order. He asks with out apologizing if we want another server. I said no we just want to pay for what we have and leave. He at least said he would take care of the drink and onion tower and then apologized. Worst ever experience. I do have to say, we went over to the Red Robin at Woodfield Mall because I have two daughters who are vegetarian and Red Robin has options for them. Had a really great service. The waitress at Woodfield was awesome! You could also see the manager working and helping his staff make a great experience. So i appreciated the...
Read moreI always talk to restaurants before I publically post any criticism. Having worked in a restaurant, I know mistakes happen. But, several times visiting Red Robin has proven to me that they just aren't worth a good review.
The first thing to consider, they are less than honest in several ways.
PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES: Red Robin is a company that promotes being allergy friendly. Please, please note they can tell you what is in the food, but there is no guarantee there is not cross contanimation. In fact, this is listed on their website, but in store they will still try to persuade those with severe allergies to eat their food. Even the "allergy" fryer has no guarantees. My close friend with severe allergies has found several restaurants she trusts to eat at, and she would never ever risk it here.
Another less than honest issue is with their menu in general. The cup of soup is practically as big as a "standard side cup" for something like extra toppings. If you're not hungry at all and looking to spend $3, this is the way to go for you. Also, as someone who was not hungry enough to get a meal, it was poorly labeled on the menu in a way that I could not properly know how much bottomless fries would be without a meal. Shoutout to the waitress who informed me and actually charged me the price in the menu!
Another issue I experienced was ordering one of the new shakes. It was very tasty, but the promised "fruffles" were missing from the top. In the picture AND listed on the menu, there were these "fruffles" but not were in my shake. Peraonally, if spending $6 on a shake, I would like the whole product. Upon asking my server, who then asked the kitchen, I was told that is was not included nor a thing and that I was wrong (Their chain website backs me up).
The only redemptive points is the friendly, albeit slow at times, service. And the food is pretty good. Overall, my experiences have lead me to believe that anyone looking for a good burger would have a more pleasant...

I ordered the Burning Love burger with a veggie patty and the Scorpion burger with an Impossible patty, using my birthday reward. Initially, the server mentioned my burger would be free with the reward, but when the bill arrived, I was charged for the Impossible patty. The Burning Love burger's veggie patty was disappointingly burnt, and upon expressing concern, the manager claimed it was standard for all veggie patties. This was not our first visit to Red Robin, and the burnt patty excuse was unsatisfactory. The billing discrepancy and the refusal to honor the reward as promised left a sour taste.
Been to Red Robin after very very long. Couple reasons - could not go coz of pandemic and the location closet to my house closed down.
Anyways, it was very good to eat at Red Robins after 2-3 years. They maintained the same taste. I didn’t see any change in the menu either.
We ordered Burnin Love Burger with Impossible Patty - thats my favorite burger in Red Robin. And it still tasted the same after years.
We also ordered Scorpion Gourmet Burger - it was also very very good.
All this was ordered with Garlic Fries and regular fries. Just enjoyed my dinner at Red Robbin today
The service was okay. Not too great. And as usual it was decorated...
