We have loved this place! The food was great and it has been fresh and clean. But lately, we’ve been noticing slight declines in a few areas. We always order their tabouleh salad and the last few times the salad has been 80% tomatoes, when it’s supposed to be 80% parsley. The chicken amounts are getting smaller and smaller and the prices continue to go up. But the thing that bothered me the most was what happened today. We went there for Mother’s Day (as it has been where we go for special occasions) and we ordered food and sat down waiting for our food to be delivered to our table. They have a tv with advertisements about their restaurant in the front by the kitchen. One of the “screens” was an advertisement about a 20% discount over Mother’s Day weekend for dine-in patrons. I excitedly grabbed our receipt to see how much we saved and noticed that there was no discount at all applied on the receipt. I promptly took my receipt up to the front to ask why the discount wasn’t given. The person up front mumbled something under their breath and gave me the discount. I politely asked why it wasn’t automatically programmed into the computer during check-out if the discount is offered. Again, no answer and just mumbles I couldn’t understand. I sat down and we ate and before we left, I went to the front to speak to a manager. I looked around and assumed most, if not all, of the people who were in the restaurant did not know about this discount if they didn’t see the tv screen that showed up every 5 minutes. I asked to speak to a manager to let them know how I think it should be automatic so everyone gets the discount that is advertised. No manager was on duty. The person up front said it is not programmed into the computer per the manager’s instructions. So this was a purposeful decision which seems deceptive and sneaky. If it is advertised, it should be given automatically. Why wait for people to maybe see the screen and then have to come up to ask for a discount? We are here, dining in, so why not give it? I’m a bit bothered by the deception. As we were leaving, I told a couple eating near us about the discount and they were like, “What?! Really?” I think the restaurant was betting on most people not seeing the discount and therefore not asking for it. I am very disappointed in this business practice....
Read moreI can’t tell you enough how much I love this place as it is my go to for Mediterranean Cuisine. The chicken kefta is a family favorite. It has just the right amount of flavor and spices that can satisfy all taste buds. Not to bland and not overly spiced and seasoned. My daughter refers to the chicken kefta kabobs as healthy hot dogs. The chicken tawook is also a favorite of hers and she is very particular being only 7 on which food is flavorful and which isn’t. The service is amazing. The cooks always get our order correct. In fact it’s gotten to the point that us walk in they start the order as they know exactly what we want and how we want it prepared as it’s always the same. They have recently started to have people use the tablet to place their own order. It may seem challenging at first but once you use it to place your order you will realize how simple and efficient it is. The one thing I miss is the personal touch of being to small talk with the staff when they use to process the order. I understand it’s a business and they have to efficiencies to continue to keep costs down rather than passing them to the customer. I will say if you can please be generous and leave a tip as they bring your food to your table and some locations will also remove your tray and dispose your leftovers. They will never pressure you for a tip but the service they provide is worth at least 20% on top of the bill. If you want a clean, family friendly that hits the spot type of a meal then you owe it to your self to give this place a try. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue coming here as I have never left disappointed. Thank you PPMG a loyal customer for life, and my apologies for waiting this long before...
Read moreToday I was looking to try something new, something fresh, or at least new to me. I opted to try Pita Pita. This was my first experience trying Mediterranean fast food outside of the realm of gyros. Wasn’t quite sure what to try. Fortunately there are self serve kiosks that display the menu. Each item has a picture depicting what your dish will look like. After reading a few of the choices, I decided on the chicken shawarma inside a pita, served with french fries and a drink. I must admit the food was tasty. The sandwich has seasoned chicken, crunchy lettuce, pickle, cucumber, tomato, and a refreshing garlic aoli sauce reminiscent of tzatziki sauce. The portion was generous, and I would say almost perfect in the amount of food you get. You won’t come away feeling like you ate too much, but your hunger will be satisfied. The french fries were on point. They had a crispy outside and a fluffy inside, and a light seasoning. All in, the meal was $18.92 with a 15% tip. Little pricey for a pita sandwich but hey it’s the world we live in today. My only complaint about the whole experience was the amount of time it took for my food to come out. From time of ordering to the time the server brought it out was roughly 20 minutes. I was the only customer at the time, so I don’t understand the long wait. The food was fresh, but not super piping hot, which adds to the confusion on why it takes 20 minutes to make a sandwich. I will say the lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain everything to me. So that more than makes up for the wait. Overall I give this location a...
