This recent experience with Los Cabos was horrific, and it will officially be my last time ever stepping foot in their building. After being seated, we were greeted with an unfriendly waitress who was not nice or personable in any way. We ordered our food. I ordered a Lunch 2 special, which consists of a burrito and a order of rice and beans. My burrito looked absolutely disgusting. I ordered queso dip on top of my burrito. It was not melted at all. Instead, it was thick and looked like it had been sitting out for weeks. I asked the waitress if she could remake the burrito so that it would actually be edible. She took the plate to the back and came back shortly with the same exact thing on the plate. They did not attempt to remake it or anything. I told the waitress I did not like the food and that it did not look like something I wanted to pay for or eat, and I asked if it would be possible for me to get something else. She went to ask the manager and came back to tell me that I could not order anything else even though I was going to pay for it. The manager said if i wanted to be able to order something else i would have to pay for the food I didn’t eat as well as whatever else I order. They had horrible customer service and terrible attitudes. They seemed to be racist as well by the way they acted towards me. This is not a place you want to go to. The food is not even that good, and the staff is filled with people with sour faces and bad attitudes. If you don’t like the food you are going to pay for, you will not be able to order anything else, so you will have to go somewhere else or starve. These are not good people. There are much better options in Bartlett, TN to get good, authentic mexican food with great customer service. This is not the place unless you want to get disrespected. I immediately left there and went there and went to another mexican restaurant with great food and...
Read moreDinner on Thursday evening, seated within 5 minutes, Our Server was Good, very friendly and took drink order quickly delivered.. gave us a us a moment to look over the extensive menu, meanwhile she brought chip and salsa, offered cheese dip or Mexican style guacamole. We ordered the Guacamole and It was Great!! Chips and Salsa were okay as far as taste, lots of inconsistencies in size of tomato cuts and chips were so large we had to break them down. After 25 minutes our server returned to take our order, we ordered a build your own plate, I ordered a bean and cheese tostada, cheese and onion Enchilada and a Chile relleno.. the plate came with refried beans and Mexican rice, beans tasted like they were from a can, rice had no flavor, it was slightly pink but honestly flavorless, the enchilada was okay, the red Chile on top was good, just needs more balance of flavor all I could taste was actual chile, the relleno, was only a very thin slice of Chile with some ground beef cream filling dreged in thick egg mixture and fried and covered in a different watery red sauce, I unburied the sliver of green chile and tried that, it was okay, not at all what I am accustomed to eating. Finally the Bean and cheese Tostada, it was served on a plate by itself which I was very glad about, however when I picked it up to eat it, it was wet and soggy and had the same refried beans. I ate the edges and some of the cheese on top. I found my meal below what i expected, maybe just an off day there, I may wait a few months and read some reviews and see if anything improves. On a positive note, our Server was Kind and very pleasant! Give them a try, and an honest review.. I hope I just went at a time...
Read moreYesterday, I was in town for just one day on business, and I really wanted to spend dinner time with my kids and grandkids. We were extremely pressed for time, as my bus was leaving in just a few hours, and I had my grandchild with me. We were seated in the back of the restaurant at a booth with a blown light bulb. I asked for a high chair, but the host told me someone else would have to get it for us. We never got it. We were never greeted and sat there for what seemed like forever.I noticed a white family being served promptly. A high chair was even brought out for them. My daughter and I watched as several staff members passed us by as if we weren't even there. Soon after, two older Caucasian women were seated in the booth right behind us. The same server, who had continuously ignored us as if we were invisible, immediately greeted the ladies behind us and took their drink orders. I looked at her with pure disbelief. I couldn't believe this was still happening in 2024. My daughter and I immediately grabbed our things to leave. The staff just looked at us, knowing we had not been served. I asked for a manager, but the manager never came out. We ended up having to leave quickly to find another place to eat so I wouldn't miss my bus. I had never been to this location before this incident. We only came here because my daughter had spoken highly of the service. M Instead, on this day, we received grossly unfair treatment and discrimination. I plan to make sure everyone knows about this. That shouldn't happen to anyone news flash MS server. I know you stereotyped us and didn't want to serve us. Well, jokes on you, we always tip extremely well . Treat people how you want...
