I have taken my 6 year old daughter for only 2 visits at this office but we definitely won't be returning. I have multiple complaints regarding their service. On both visits, I had extremely poor service from the insurance department. They do not communicate or follow up well. On our first visit this resulted in our having to wait 40 minutes in the lobby during the peak of Covid while the insurance office verified information that should have been handled weeks before. On our 2nd visit we had different insurance so I called the day before our appointment to verify that all the insurance had been pre-certed. It had not because they said they needed my husband's social security number. Had I not called we would have had the same issue as the first time. Why not call me & ask for the needed information? In addition to poor customer service from the insurance office, and much more importantly, the staff in the back of the office where the dental work is done is hit or miss. On our first visit, the tech who took my daughter's x-rays and cleaned her teeth was wonderful but the woman at the checkout desk was rude. Dr. Mary was rushed & very hurried and not particularly personable. On our 2nd visit the woman who cleaned my daughter's teeth was also very hurried and spoke as if she would be more appropriate in a fast food restaurant. She gave my daughter a pair of used sunglasses but told me they were new when I asked. She also seemed highly annoyed by my questions. She spent less than 10 minutes cleaning my child's teeth & completely ignored my daughter when she complained of pain. The woman who took her x-rays was extremely impatient & borderline rude with my child. That same woman refused to allow my daughter to take the dollar store sunglasses she'd been wearing home with her, stating that "those are for ALL our guests." That tells me the glasses weren't new & are being reused between patients, otherwise she would have been allowed to keep them. Again, Dr. Mary was rushed, impatient, and just rough with my daughter. She also ignored her complaints of pain & chastised her for crying. We will definitely not return to...
Read moreI have been increasingly disappointed with this office. Everything started out fine so I don't know what happened.
My daughter needed a filling on a tooth and I noticed that they just left her sitting there under the nitrous for 40 minutes while seeing other patients. This is annoying and concerning obviously. I get that stuff happens and tried to put it aside.
The tooth ended up too damaged anyway and she had to have the tooth pulled and a spacer put in after about a year. One of the dentists up there expressed surprise that the other dentist there even took the original approach that she did on that tooth.
Recently I asked to reschedule an appointment for a checkup. They didn't have anything available for like 6 weeks so I ended the call believing that we were keeping the original time and we would just have to make it work rather than reschedule. But after the whole process of my husband taking off work, pulling the kids out of school, and driving up there in the rain for an appointment, they arrived and were told it had been canceled... by me.
My phone records all my calls so I listened to that call and I'm not sure where their confusion occurred.
I expressed my surprise that our appointment was canceled. They said they couldn't even try to work us in or anything. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule for another 6 weeks out. You mean with how fantastically everything is going so far???
And then this. I called another dentist and asked about their availability because this is clearly not working. That dentist's office called brink and white and, without any authorization or signed paperwork or anything, the new dentist was able to get medical information about my children from the staff there. Wow! That's really creepy. They don't have a relationship with that office. They don't know who they're talking to, and they're up there just giving out whatever info...
Read moreBrink & White Pediatric Dental was truly a wonderful experience! My toddler is of age now to get dental checks and unfortunately we weren’t able to find a pediatric dental office in our town that accepts his insurance . Through google I found Brink & White and although they are an hour away from us. It was well worth the visit. As soon as we entered my son loved it. The office is beautifully decorated which kept him busy while we waited. The front desk coordinator was kind and immediate. Waiting time was nothing, right on point with our appointment time. Dental assistant was thorough, also very kind and knowledgeable on all questions I had. I must say I was impressed with their office decor, cleanliness, and staff sharpness. I’ve never seen an office so clean and beautifully put together. The entire staff from walking in to walking through and exiting was the most actively present and pleasant. We had Dr. Josh and he was also great, direct and immediate. For having to travel an hour I had my mind set on possibly looking for another closer to us in the future. However, We loved the experience- because it is an experience visiting Brink & White Pediatric Dental. We will continue to travel an hour knowing my son will have the best care and enjoy his dental visit. Thank you guys for being awesome, my son Gatlin Holmes will be growing up...
