Bought 4 sacks live crawfish from this business last weekend 3-27-21. Crawfish had been in the cooler longer than they should have been. Crawfish were very weak. Not lively as they should have been if fresh. About 4 pounds dead and stinking in each 34 pound sack. Most of the others died after a couple 20 minute fresh water purges. Was boiling for 35 people. Did not time to return to business and argue. WOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. Also a pet peeve of mine, when they bring sacks out there is no pound tag on the sack. I could have took my $30 and spent it on a...
Read moreDo not waste your money here. I’ve eaten from Berthelot’s a few times and never had an issue with what I had previously purchased. Today I paid for 12 lbs. of crawfish and other items from the menu. The total was nearly $120. I have no issue with paying for quality but this small company intentionally mixed leftover crawfish that had been frozen or chilled in a refrigerator with hot crawfish. This tactic was all in order to make a quick buck. That isn’t service or professionalism and each employee, especially the server, lacks integrity.. Hopefully, this review makes potential...
