I went with my nieces and nephew on Halloween night. It was around 20 mins before close and I sent my niece to ask one of the several people that were cleaning up if they were still open. You could literally see everyone through the glass clearly. So my niece came back after a few minutes and I said are they? She said that they all ignored her. So I said, they can't just ignore you, have them answer you. So she went and came back and said "The guy says it's closed, but the girl says that it's open. So I said ok, let's go in. So they went in while I gathered a few more things. So I get in and they weren't given menus or greeted etc. So a slender white guy told someone else "Oh you didn't tell them"? And I couldn't hear the rest. So he said something like "We're closing, so I'm gonna have to ask you to order quickly" so I said "OK well may we get some menus so that we can quickly order"? He said "The menu is on the wall" so I had to gather up up the kids to go to the menu way on the wall by the register. So he said something else about us ordering quickly when I got up there and he was staring daggers at me at the register with his finger up ready to type in as if to say hurry up. So I ordered the first thing I saw which was the cheeseburger pizza because it was featured. So he was like great! So then he said, do you want it here or to go? I said for here. He said ok. So later he asked if we wanted mustard on the pizza. Idk if it even comes on it so I said no. So he brings the pizza to the table TO GO. I told him that I asked for it for here, and he said Oops! I thought you said to go. And expected us to leave. I asked for plates. So the kids and I ate like a half a slice each but he kept staring, and saying things to the other employees that I couldn't make out, so I just got the pizza a drinks and left. We ate it in the car in the parking lot for a while and they were still in there. I stayed until my sister met up with me to get the kids and they were STILL in there. There was actually no reason to rush us. The kids were devastated. My niece was heartbroken for being ignored. That was AWFUL. If you close 20 minutes before the time that's posted on the internet then SAY THAT. But to be rude and pushy is unacceptable, and my pizza tasted nothing like cheeseburger at all. They pro ably even gave me...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at Pizza Artista! A few weeks ago, I visited right before closing time and was warmly greeted by Matt, who was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. He made me feel right at home. The pizza was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh toppings to choose from. It was so good that I decided to bring my girlfriend back today, and we were lucky to be served by a team of amazing staff members including Matt, Ryan, and Conroy. They were all friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
I highly recommend Pizza Artista to anyone looking for top-notch pizza and a wonderful dining experience. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel valued and appreciated. Whether you're a pizza lover or just looking for a great place to enjoy a meal, Pizza Artista is the place to go. We'll definitely be...
Read moreI hate to post negative reviews about locally based businesses during this trying time, and Pizza Artista is definitely one of the better pizzerias to enter the Baton Rouge area. However, their service and organization leaves a lot to be desired. In my most recent visit, It took nearly 10 minutes to serve the customer in front of me. The workers seemed very disorganized, such as servicing people who had come in after us for take out and people making pizzas on top of one another. After waiting another 10 minutes after the customer was served, I decided to leave.
It’s unfortunate that Pizza Artista has declined so quickly, and there was a bit of chatter, and I don’t want them to fold like many other businesses. However, until they get things back in line, I will move it much lower on my priority list for...
